I wish we could get an update on the Vancouver Prospects. I never get to see any Wolves games. I see Kevin Connauton our best defence prospect doesn't know how to play defence with a team worst -14. Yann Sauve was sent to ECHL.... What hope do we have for prospects?

Connauton is a waste. His shot is his only tool, and it's not enough to get him to the NHL. Sauve has regressed severely—was sent down to the ECHL and replaced with Polasek, but both have played well with their respective teams since the switch.

Peter Andersson is the D to watch in Chicago. Plays a very similar game to Tanev. Great skater, sound positionally and defensively, composed with the puck, but nothing flashy.

Jeremy Price is having another great year with Colgate. Should have a top4 role with the Wolves next season. McNally was suspended from Harvard and has been practicing with an east coast minor league team.

Corrado and McEneny are both playing well with Kitchener in the OHL. Corrado will be on the Wolves next season, unless he somehow makes the Canucks. McEneny will likely be on Kitchener's top pairing.

Tommernes, is having another good year with Frolunda in Sweden, and has been in their top pairing for the last 3 years. Not big very big or physical, but mobile, good defensively, and has some offensive tools. Just had a bad game with Canucks scouts watching—hopefully it doesn't deter them from signing him, as he's got NHL potential.

Mallet and Grenier have both been playing very well for the K-wings in the ECHL. Mallet just got called up to the Wolves. Wes Myron also has 3 points in 4 games with the k-wings since dropping out of BU due to a lack of playing time.

Jensen was scratched a game with AIK for getting in an argument with their goalie, and then was the 13th forward the last game (only a little over a minute of playing time). Still having a solid rookie year. Will likely join the Wolves when the SEL reg season is over, and be with them full time next year.

Gaunce had 3 goals and 1 assist last game with the Bulls. Clawing closer to p/game after an injury and slow start.

Just doing my morning rounds checking on the prospects, so I figured I'd share some info...

edit: not much to say about Rodin and Sweatt. Both have regressed. Rodin will probably be offered a contract this summer, but I see him playing in Sweden for most of his career. Archibald still has bottom 6 potential, but has slowed after a great start with the Wolves. Friesen is having an unspectacular rookie year with the Wolves, but still had bottom 6 NHL potential.

Jake Allen. To say Elliott is struggling is a massive understatement, and Halak is injured. Allen has won his last couple starts, looked decent. Also had a pretty impressive highlight reel save last game.

You really want to hear players/coaches/GMs shout all the homophobic, racist and otherwise extremely offensive crap they spew on the ice? Goody for you buddy, I mean, hockey players already have a bad enough rep for mostly being uneducated or undereducated goons, do we really need to reinforce that image? It's not going to make the game better or make more people watch it, and besides, knowing how many arseholes Vancouver has as "fans" anyways, do you want them taking over Rogers Arena and turning it into like Old Trafford during a England vs Ireland soccer match?
