Kassian Kesler Booth. What a huge line that would be.

Not sure if it would work, though.

After Burrows blew his breakaway I don't think he knew what to do in the shootout. As long as we don't see a Sedin going up for an attempt...

I agree with other posters who think RK17 should get benfit of the doubt for first few games, I just feel bad for all the players moved around to help Kesler out. All of this for the good of one player, instead of what is best for the team. Soon as Booth plays the whole lineup is going to get screwy all over again.

I do too. I will give him a few games . Thiis isn't a knee jerk reaction BTW . I like Kes most of the time. I am commenting on a two year history and not a two game history just so everyone knows.

I am concerned about his history and his willingness to play well with others.
A combo of Sharp and Shaw could be a nice return and then we no longer need to answer the question of the ages "who can play with Kes"

Why can't this team sustain pressure throughout the game? 1st periods have been great. 2nd average and 3rd bad.
Now that Booth is coming back, this team is going to need time to gel. I see some very average play over the next few weeks. Luckily there isn't a lot of pressure from within our own division.

I made almost exactly the same comment when Kesler came back. 0-2 with him in the lineup.

I'd rather keep Kesler and use him properly. Fire AV.

Canucks Should move Kesler to the wing. Let him take face off's and then Switch sides with the winger.

Have you ever seen Raymond crash a net,or fight? Have you ever seen him lay out a player with a huge hit? I have seen Hansen do all of that. Get off your mom's computer before you get grounded for the week.

I have said it many times before I would like a true second line . If you see one on the Canucks let me know because we have been looking for years now.

Since when is crashing the net or fighting a requirement to be considered a second line player? Were the Sedins poor second liners because they lacked those things in their game? The only way any combination of Kassian/Kesler/Booth/Burrows/Schroeder/Raymond doesn't constitute a "true second line" is if you're in a place like Winnipeg or Columbus where that's a first line.

I would take Wheeler Kane and Little, over Kassian Booth Raymond Schroeder any day

What do you need to make the playoffs in our pool?

A good team.

Top 6 teams make the playoffs, I believe that the top 2 get a first round bye.

First line is finesse, would like the second line to have some grit/toughness, which we have been asking for awhile now. I like how MG has tried to fix this, just has not worked out the way MG has hoped. I think Kassian is our future power forward (along with Jensen in few years), he is just not there yet. I am hoping Booth can be an aggresive forward, just has had issues finishing. I think it will get interesting in the next few weeks when teams slide out of playoff picture and their GM's try to make some moves. I do think we have assets we can move to get a piece back from other teams (not even counting Luo). I don't think we have too many untradeables depending on the return.

My untouchables would be
Sedins, Burrows, Kassian, Kesler, Bieksa, Hamhuis, Garrison, Edler, Tanev.
Depending on return I would even trade Edler (have to be BIG return).

So top team in each division? Cause I'm currently 2nd in total points, yet am the 3rd seed...

I would keep the Raymond Schroeder Hansen line intact because they have looked pretty decent every game together.
I would do the AMEX line of Booth Kesler Higgins
poopty for Kassian, prolly end up on the 4th which will hurt his motivation. AV always does things to get his fave players going, like putting Burrows back with the twins because they were not producing. Who cares when their linemate Kassian was?
I would go
Sedin Sedin Kassian
Booth Kesler Burrows or Burrows Schroder Kesler
Raymond Schroder Hansen or Raymond Higgins Booth

4th would be whomever is not on top 9 with Lappy as your center

- immature_male

Higgins isn't a center, I'm on board with moving Kesler to RW if only Gillis can acquire a solid center, someone like Weiss would be perfect.

I'd take Wheeler for just this season. Little is not what this team needs, he's the kind of player that will be in everyone's trade proposals like Raymond has been.

I agree about the second line and that is why I said Hansen would be better suited for the second line than Raymond. Raymond is fast and has some puck skill but is not tough enough to generate scrums in front of the net.

Raymond is fine on the third line. He is doing very well there. If he is on your second line then your team is not talented enough to compete for the cup . He does not score enough goals or is not a difference maker .
