The biggest concern right now I have is that the PP runs better with 7 and not 58. That is concerning to me when trying to decide if you are gonna pay a guy 7M/year.
- Gunner Staal

no doubt about that. But it's very noticeable. Martin doesn't have the cannon shot but the his poise at the point is noticeably different than Letang's right now. I wonder though too if some of that isn't just derivative of the alignment, having more options in general as a result, and making it a little easier for the PP QB to do what needs to be done.

I think i'd like to see Bennett with Crosby and Dupuis against the Flyers. Again I wasn't happy with the random lines today. Does anyone notice we usually score before and after Dan gets done messing around?

Well, we have been doing the random line thing for a greater portion of the last two years. It has worked until the play-offs.

I hope they give him an extended look with the big club, no reason not to.

Bylsma juggles quite a bit but if memory serves correct so did Therrien. I know that I personally like to keep my forward lines the same if possible when coaching but depending on how the penalties fall, it can throw a wrench in your best intentions.

I don't get it. The last two guys on defense I would trade are Letang and Despres. You guys act like they are a luxury when we are thinner on defense than offense right now. Maybe not when the prospects develop but right now we're thin.

He's gotten some chances, you can tell he thinks the game like a goal scorer. They'll start going in eventually. I would just like to re-unite the line that was so deadly last year in an effort to get Malkin scoring goals. Crosby can play with anyone and Dupuis is red hot. I think Bennett could have some success there.

But more than anything I'd like to see the lines that start the game play together all game. Except for when they want to thow the big 3 together, I'm fine with that anytime. But tonight I saw Adams, Crosby and Cooke and alot of variations of much of the same. Cut that crap out.

There isn't anybody who really wants Despres traded. Letang is going nowhere this but next year raises some serious issues with his contract extension.

Could you imagine this team without Letang? That is just a scary thought to me. Despres is another guy on the verge of being really good yet he's also the guy we here talked about. I just don't see this team needing more offense at the expense of defense.

I'm down with that. Lets see Bennett with 87 and let Kunitz jump start Malkin.

Or next year... Morrow would still be a rookie and he really struggled during the lockout against NHL players.

Shero is going to treat Letang much like he did Staal. Offer his best deal and if he doesn't take it he will trade him.

A week ago I would have thought you were crazy about taking Kunitz away from Sid, but now I agree. That second line is in serious need of something.....anything!

The Bylsma Blender. Reminds me of my younger years when we would raid my cousins' parent's bar. We'd mix a little of this with a little of that. Always tasted like sh*t, but we usually got crushed....so....

But then you had to put a little water into each one so as not to get caught. Then one day your dad yelled at you because he was embarrassed at his dinner party when the drinks he made for everyone tatsed like watered down poop. Oh you say this never happened to you? Must be someone else I know...
