This had the feel of a playoff game for sure and it's probably the closest that Sabres will get to a "playoff vibe" during a game this year. Both teams played well, it was a great game with a crappy ending for Buffalo. I thought we played well enough to get a point at least. Oh well. I expected Buffalo to get killed to be honest. Good game guys!

It boggles my mind how Letang can laser a backhand cross ice pass through traffic, right to dupuis, but routinely shoot it into a defender's shin pads 5 feet away while on the PP point.

Good battle by the Pens today, especially after losing the lead.

So, with his game winning goal, Martin now has the same amount of goals as Seto. Just thought I'd give you the update.

we still need that player who camps in front of the net on the power play. kunitz does it, but then leaves the crease and skates around.

They have the 2nd ranked PP in the league and you're worried about that?

we need one of those during the course of the game. Our power play is like second or third in the league. Not too shabby

We do need that. The power play was clicking like this during the regular season last year and fell apart during the playoffs. It is on a nice little hot streak, but it's not going to last if they prefer pretty passes over shots

Only trails the "best player in the world" by 1 point. G has one more goal than Paul Martin. Ouch!

Yeah, I went there...

Remember when this Power Play couldn't work with Malkin and Crosby on it? Letang was the problem all along.

Buffalo is a very tough team this year. I enjoyed the hell out of this game. Miller and Fleury were both very good. Vanek and Crosby put on a show and there seemed to be some legit hatred for each other. Tons of chances both ways. Couldn't have asked for a better game.

I don't blame him. How many years does he have to deal with the same BS mistakes in front of him.

He needs a new start somewhere else.

And the way Howard is playing this year, they may re-think a big contract for him

Dupuis is definitely not top six. I mean he ONLY had 2 goals tonight ... wtf where is the forking hat trick. I am SO upset in his play. He is way overpaid and doesn't deserve to play with sid. WHERE IS THE HAT TRICK DUPUIS!?
