The last year that Montreal's AHL team played here in Fredericton, that song played every time the other team scored.

Seems to be an overused song, but it fits. When I went to an Icehogs game @ Milwaukee in January it was played every time an Admiral went in the penalty box

I got one game question and one opinion question. First is going back to the takedown on stalberg. When does a play like that get called a penalty shot rather than just a penalty?

Second, I've noticed this a lot, but never brought it up. When Hossa crashes the net and the goalie covers it, he rarely, if ever, gets an extra push from the defense. You think it's cause he's quick to get away or has he just earned the respect from the league?

Hawks look like they're playing a different game out there. Crawford and Emery playing great, all players are scoring. I hope they keep this up for a while, it's fun to watch. Happy Hockey Day!

As I understand it, a penalty shot is awarded when a player with a clear path to the goalie is fouled from behind and is prevented from getting an attempt on the goalie. If the player gets an attempt (however weak) off, it is a penalty if the attempt doesn't score. If no attempt, penalty shot.

As for Hossa, he's built like a brick $hit house. Who would want to hit him?

Did Vik actually get a shot off? I didn't think he did but I did not see the replay.

Also, Crow may not be out long according to Q:

I can't call this 4 th Line a 4 th line

they are too good to ba a 4th line

Krueger maybe the most improved Hawk this year

This line is all over whatever lime they play against and they take the pressure off the big guns

No let down boys....... 20 to go Kings were good the last 10 minutes

Won't sugar coat it...Saad's been invisible through 40.

but Keith is not...2 beauty set-up passes to Toews and Seabs. He has really been good defensively with that uncanny eyes in back of his head and great stick.

Good to see Seabs after talking that rocket in shall we say a very vulnerable area

And a depth guy or two will improve it as it is mainly Kruger and fro who power it.

Yeah I took that article with a grain of salt based on who was being interviewed...

Still could be relative good news.

That's good news. I have confidence in Razor short term, but he really fell off when Q tried to ride him last year.

Any Hawks fans want to make a bet on the game today?

Such as changing team affiliation for a week, month, etc.?

I have supreme confidence the Kings win today.

Game isn't over yet. Edmonton scored 5 straight goals yesterday vs. Colorado yesterday after being down 4-1. And don't forget that game against Calgary a few years back....or whatever Bruins game Pierre was having a wet dream about.

Hawks have to shut the door.
