It was funny watching some Leafs fans trying to justify Cooke doing it on purpose and freaking out that Cookie should be kicked out of the game the same way Melnyk did.
- Two_For_Truth

I must have missed those guys saying that. It was probably Dozzer and Tee Dot.

Rielly
Finn
Percy
Blacker

then Corrado.

Komi isn't great, but not playing bad this year. Better than both Garrison and Ballard anyway.

- prock

I agree. Komi is playing just well enough to keep his games to a minimum...lol...4 (frank)ing games.

I'll stay on topic with anyone on this site. Just not you. I'm not into arguing with know-it-all high school kids.

And here, my friends, is the problem with Leafs fans. You lack objectivity and common sense.

Of course Couturier for Whitney + Paajarvi isn't going to happen. Why would the Flyers deal Couturier? But this rumor got posted by someone, and it was entertaining.

But here's the thing: You can't tell me Couturier for Whitney + Paarjavi is any worse than Kessel for Seguin + Hamilton. Actually, the Kessel deal and much more moronic and far-fetched. Yet, it happened. Why? Because that's the kind of stupid stuff the Leafs do as an organization.

I could understand a Wings fan making jokes. Or a Devils fan or even a Canucks fan. Those teams have a tradition of excellence. Even though the Canucks haven't won a cup, they put on the ice an excellent team year after year. You've got to admire that.

But the Leafs? Just exactly what tradition is there since 1967? And back then, the league had only six or seven teams. Imagine how many cups the Leafs wouldn't have won if it was a real league, like it is today.

Leaf fans feel the need to project their superiority onto the rest of us, and it gets really depressing to watch. Because we all know, even if you don't, that Leafs management...no matter who runs the team or owns the team...is going to screw this up. It's a never-ending Gong Show, and perhaps the most poorly run franchise in the history of sports. Which in itself is bad enough. But when you consider how other professional sports teams like the Jays and Raptors do, then you really need to start questioning if the issue here is bad management, or the city itself.

Not specifically for Rielly. He was one of the first cuts. So, he wasn't really cut for anybody at all. Just cut, with about 4 or 5 guys ahead of him.

I saw Marty Mcsorely at the Molson Indy Street party one year. He's still huge.

Nah, not on the street. He was built like a brick sh!ithouse.

Along the lines of what you say though, my buddy ended up at System Soundbar, one night when the Lakers were playing the Raptors, and ended up taking a leak beside Shaq. He said he couldn't help himself, had to peek. And apparently it's as big as a baby's arm. Enormous.

I would've guessed a guy like Marty would've spent retirement drinking beers or something. Scary.

He probably did. He clearly wasn't in game shape. Just saying, his chest stuck out like a baboon.
