Not quite yet... They have a subsequent deal in place that will send Schneider, and Raymond over for Letang, Neal, and Fleury.

If they properly actuate each of the "feet" individually then they can generate that "real walk" feeling

I do find it funny that on Wednesday, they were a playoff team, and on Thursday, they're an AHL team.

I mean, I realize that the player you lost this week was pretty damn good, but would I have been able to find a single Sens fan before the Penguins game willing to admit they were one player away from collapse?

- Leeman4Gilmour

It's funny how the Sens lose a few key players (still have one of the best goalies in the league) and suddenly they're an AHL team. No one seems to be questioning why Murray doesn't have the depth in place to survive this. The Leafs lost one of their best scorers early in the season, have had their best defenseman for only two games, and now have lost another top scorer and their starting goalie. I don't see anyone around here whining about it. Maybe that's because while Burke wasn't able to get any first line stars into Toronto, he was always adding depth.

Look who it's coming from? The biggest (frank)ing idiot on Leafs TV, and that's saying a lot.

Not trying to start a fight here but Ive seen a number of people here blame last season entirely on Reimer (Gionta).

What's with Orr's ice time? Good on him for earning some playing time.

I never did.. although it didn't help... it was that lousy defence in front of the goalies with no one back.. and easy tap ins galore... where the goalie makes to 2 to 3 saves and the next one goes in.

I always said it was not the goalies fault.. Carlyle has some of those idiots playing better this year...

Not to pick a fight but I don't think any pundit in the universe would equate the loss of Reimer with the loss of Karlsson, who was getting some love as maybe the best player in the league this season (see BMac's twitter). Also Michalek wasn't scoring a tonne this year (probably because Spezza's been hurt) but he was an all-star last season with 35 goals.

Losing your starting goalie is just as important as losing any one skater, regardless of how good that skater may be. If you lose a defenseman, there should be someone able to step up and at least fill the hole. If you lose your starting goalie, all you have left is your backup and if he's not up to the task it really doesn't matter how good the rest of the team is.

Not to toot my own horn either (if I could I wouldnt be here talking to you people) but I said when it happened that the Schenn/JVR trade would be good for the Leafs.
