This is huge for Toronto. If the Leafs don't have to go overpay for a goalie that will go a long way in bringing in a guy like Perry. I am uber impressed with the goal tending this year.

So is it safe to assume for now that anything along the lines of Luongo for Frattin, Kadri and Reimer is deader than fried chicken? The goaltending numbers and play of the young guys is better than anything we would have dared to ask for. It's way early but the Leafs are in a nice spot at this juncture all things considered.

Married, child, different coach, different system,......if we're out of it come trade deadline he'll be traded for picks....if we're still in it, he'll prob stay and be traded July 1st...unless of course he steps up come playoff time...
