how bout Orr on the 3rd line and his 10mins. Backchecking and creating havoc with turnovers. While that doosh Neil played scared looking to pick a spot that never came. He didn't want to get dusted at the ACC by a true heavyweight
- shmenge

I hope the Orr 3rd line thing was just for one game. Eakins said when they used to play the Rangers Orr had a bigger role that disrupted the Leafs. I think they are trying to use him the same way he was used in NY.. There was a few times he made a bad pass tho that would have been a 2 on 1 for Kadri and Mac.. I guess thats the price you pay.

If they can beat FLA, that's be good. If they lose to FLA the TB becomes very important. They need at least 1 of those, if not both.

Certainly need to pick up their game over the last 2 games that's for sure.

Kormorov really got under their skin last night.... loved seeing it. And they couldn't do a think because of Orr, brown and Mclaren.

Not the sharpest game, scrivens really kept us in there. He won the game.

Good to see a leafs goalie finally somewhat steal a game for them

Yup.... and really haven't have one lose one for us. Scrivens didn't help us any i the NYI game, but the rest of the team was crap all game too.

Boarding has got to be the most abused call in the book.

I'd say that practically half of all boarding calls I've seen should not be called. Refs certainly weren't doing us any favors last night. Some brutal officiating.

Gonchar should learn how to take a hit properly. What's with all these guys skating head on into the boards? Or turning their backs to a check?

Gross.

I love how he couldn't stop talking about the Habs' momentum last week during our drubbing of Montreal.

Agreed. Just terrible. Turn your back at the last second and draw the penalty. Brutal.

Loved how the Leafs got called for tripping last night, and the ref 5 feet away looking right at is doesn't call it, but the ref 60feet away obstructed by the net calls it?

Impeccable!
This is huge for Toronto. If the Leafs don't have to go overpay for a goalie that will go a long way in bringing in a guy like Perry. I am uber impressed with the goal tending this year.

yeah, that was a beauty.

Or Kessel getting clipped with a high stick, then having his jersey clearly held. Ref is 20 feet away and can't make a single call.
