Don Cherry's half second cousin.

Amazing Oilers game by the way. 56 shots taken by the Oilers.

Losing Karlsson is a huge loss for you guys. I think the point is that the Leafs are missing some key players as well. That doesn't mean our key players are better than yours. It just shows that the Leafs have a little bit more depth. Also Michalek was great last year but this year when he has played hasn't been good at all, while Frattin was on fire.

I guess... It seemed to me the Senators played a pretty good game tonight, and with a bounce or two reversed could quite easily have won.

I guess the loss of Karlsson demonstrates the vulnerability of a system that's built around an irreplaceable player. Then again, with regards to depth, how many teams in the league could lose their 3 top point producers and 2 best overall defenders and be hunky-dory?

Carlyle.

Don't look now, but the Leafs are top 10 in the league when it comes to goals against per game.

The Leafs better have a different strategy against a pesky panthers squad on monday. If they don't skate their lungs out they won't win.

He has to do that. Hold the players accountable and let them know what they did wrong. Cant be worse than Wilsons silent treatments.

players loved to play for Quinn and Burns even tho he was hard on them at times. Im hoping Carlyle has the same effect. I'm not convinced tho cuz theres a few players who didn't like him like Ryan... Hopefully the young guys have the mental makeup to see past his nasty side.

i think they'll win against TB or Buffalo.. I know Stammer just broke his drought but i think that team is weak enough on defense to allow the Leafs to squeeze by.

I get the feeling those games are when the Leafs start cashing in their loser points.

Hard and fair. Give them roles. Respect them. Teach. That's what those 3 had in common, and what Wilson didn't do.

how bout Orr on the 3rd line and his 10mins. Backchecking and creating havoc with turnovers. While that doosh Neil played scared looking to pick a spot that never came. He didn't want to get dusted at the ACC by a true heavyweight

Worked out well.....Neil is brutal.

That 4th line shift where they scored the goal was terrific. Forecheck, get the turnover, cycle, crash the net and score.
