Yeah, it's called the subtle tank.......something like Tampa did, to get Stamkos. Trade a couple of core players and give the rest the season off. Tampa's attempt was so blatant that the league should have stepped in and stripped them from getting the first overall pick. Amazing how they couldn't use Brad Richards, Conn Smythe winner and Dan Boyle. It was also nice to shut down Lecavalier and give St. Louis 4th line minutes. Subtle, it was not.

If that were the case then the Islanders would be in KC already. The reason why they didn't move was becasue their lease is up next season. Which is why they are going to Brooklyn.

When was the last time someone in florida hit 76+? '07? Huberdeau'll never hit 76 points in his career. Bjugstad hasn't progressed at all since last year.

I said he hasn't progressed from last year. Going at a slower PPG (although barely) than last year. If he was progressing as florida fans(they exist?) say, he'd be absolutely lighting it up in college
