I agree, they are just trying to drive up the price. It will be a 2nd rounder, decent prospect and a player like Stafford IMO. Or a top4 D-man and a good prospect

Teams overpay for players all the time. I'm asking you if you were the Sabres would you do it? Leopold, Stafford, a prospect and a #2 for ROR? I would. Two players with skill but who have been inconsistent and need a change of scenery, a prospect who may or may not ever see the big club, and a draft pick that could turn out to be nothing for a 50-60 point 2nd line 2-way centerman.

I would like to keep those 4 as well. Of the 4 Girgensons would be the one I'd be most open to trading because in theory you're acquiring a more experienced 2 way centerman in ROR.

I think you often overvalue players based on AHL performance. I would rather keep both as well, but playing well with a partner in the AHL doesn't mean anything really.

There's 3 guys I wouldn't want to give up from the farm. Pysyk, McNabb and Girgensons.

I haven't seen enough of Armia play to have anything to really comment on, so I don't think I'd be upset if he got sent the other way to be honest.

If they want an offensive defenseman we can send them Gauthier-Leduc though.
