For the record, I was watching Satellite hotstove between periods and O'Reilly was mentioned. From what they said the Rangers of all teams are trying for him, the offer started with Michael Del Zotto and the Avs just kept jumping the asking price including Del Zotto and the Rangers said no. So you can see what the Avs want for him and it's a kings ransom and they won't get it. They want 2 NHL players, Dman and a pick from what Glen Healey just said

so the a deal was O'Reilly and an AVS D man for Del Zotto +++++

If the draft was today and Ennis and O'Reilly where in the draft, neither one would be a first round pick. O'Reilly didn't even average a point per game in JR's, so Ennis for O'Reilly is a fair deal but not much more then that unless the AVS include more.

It would have to be another player coming back from the AVS, if another team wants to give up a boat load for O'Reilly, go right ahead I don't think we should. I would love to have him but not for what the AVS want, I think that price comes down soon.
