I didn't think Larsson was bad. Tallinder, on the other hand, was a disaster. But this game was a lot more than just one player. We didn't play our game, took some bad penalties, not a lot of control over the puck.

Put this behind us and move on.

Once Lou makes a deal, assuming he does, I think there is a good chance Tallinder is traded. Majority of the team sucked. Him and Salvador seemed especially bad. Have to bounce back against the Sens on Monday.

Quebec: Looking for a hockey team.

We got the Islanders behind their goal line a lot in the first period but didn't sustain it well at all. That's where they are vulnerable. The Gionta line and the Henrique line did some good work down low in the first period, which led to some good scoring chances in the first, but we just didn't have it after that.

The Tavares rebound goal from the left circle really bothered me because all three forwards got caught deep. You couldn't blame the goal on either Greene or Larsson I don't think. They each had a man. Maybe Greene went too far outside. It was settling in and one of those games where mistakes would lead to goals and that was one example of it...the forwards being caught left too much speed through the neutral zone and space to bang home the rebound. Hedberg's rebound control also wasn't all that great either, unlike his other games where he did an outstanding job.
