So predictable on the PP.
- FlyerLifer

I was thinking the same thing. Every time its Giroux in the same. exact. spot.

The problem right now is not defense or goal but rather the fact that the Flyers have no offense. The scary thing is, I am not sure getting Hartnell back will do much of anything.

With Giroux struggling this season their is no one on the Flyers that can back anyone off..

Im ok with it because you have some obvious options in the FA market this summer.

Yeah, I don't think Hartnell's gonna make much of a difference either.

He should help the PP.

Gives them another threat. He does usually score 20-25 goals (full season).

I disagree. We'll get one greasy/dirty scoring chance per period with him causing havoc in front of the net. That's maybe 1 more goal every 3 games.

Briere really needs to step up more than anyone. Clutch yes, sometimes. But he's near invisible otherwise.

I guess I should say he might score a couple goals, but he's not going to change where this team is headed right now. It will be nice to have him, but the team is not in a good position if they are waiting for a player like Hartnell to jump start the team.

I was saying his change would be minimal, in my usual longwinded roundabout beat-around-the-bush meandering verbose never-concise way.

He's immensely better when he's with Clement compared to Jonesy, who's participation on WIP has affected him, methinks.

EDIT: It's amazing how much better he was on the radio when he actually called the game.

- Flyskippy

That's just it, if he focuses on the game he's good but he gets caught up extracurricular stuff too much

He looks lost out there right now. He needs to be more agressive and start shooting the puck.

Seriously...All I can think about was the Giroux 1 timer in OT to win against Anaheim last season compared to what we just saw.

At least their is another Bud Light Pitbull commercial on.
