I hope I'm not making some think that Lava is blameless or somehow a "Teflon coach," but if he is trying to make or is making changes then they're not being carried out by the team. That could be a message not being received, a message not being delivered properly, or a message that is not being transliterated properly by the team's core - like Primeau and his core did with Hitch's message prior to the 2004-05 lockout.

Personally, I think they've made some minor changes. But other then that, I don't think this Coach is going to change how he plays, and how he wants his team to play. He believes in his system. He's had great success with it. This is who he is. I think if you want something different, then you have to remove him. This is what Holmgren said he wanted. He got what he wanted when he made the hire.
