You sound delusional. You keep talking poop about Joe, but he's consistently one of the best players in the league...if you don't want him, fine it's not your problem. There's plenty of Hawks I wouldn't allow on the Sharks either. You say he dives...where the hell did you make that up...not only do I rarely ever see him on the ground, but when I do, it took the guy about a minute to trip him. The game is on ice, and that stuff tends to be slippery, so he may fall sometimes, but as an argument against Joe...that's really thin. The FACT is that the only reason you are on the Sharks page right now is because you KNOW that you are scared of this team, and you are a sore loser. Shouldn't you be off celebrating that your team is on a great streak right now? If we were the helmet-wearing-weakling team you would like us to believe, wouldn't you be gracious enough not you pick on us..or at least never give it a second thought? Nope, you're hear because you are insecure and scared. You KNOW what I'm saying is right. In Hockey there are streaks and slumps and EVERY team goes through them...you will too. Enjoy the streak while it last...but with all the trash talking you and your hawk friends have done...you now need an undefeated season and the cup above your head at the end...just so you won't be laughed into oblivion. Here' what I find funny:
The 'hawk fans can't be satisfied with a solid win (which included a ridiculous fight from one of their stars) so they, and their "blogger" have to come into the Sharks blog to gloat. Not surprised though, having read some of Jaekel's classy diatribes.

We don't come to gloat, we come to see what lame excuse for the loss that Shark fans have come up with this time. Since its always someone's fault, it's never just that the Sharks are just old, sliw, and bad, or that they simply got out played.

The fact that none of you Shark fans seem to have any clue why Toews picked that "ridiculous fight", speaks volumes about the ignorance of your fan base and your lack of understanding of Jumbo Joe's history of, or proclivity for douche-baggery.

Sharks fans love having him, I've NEVER seen him dive, I've been a fan of his since he was on Boston, never saw him dive there. It's ironic coming from a fan who has Keith, Seabrook, Twoes, Kane and Sharp on his team.....the only way it would get worse is if he also had Perry. We Sharks fans can't take you seriously about Joe cause we see him every game and know you're full of it. Your complaints about him are so ridiculous that my biggest challenge in writing back is where to start. Clearly you are uneducated about the matter, and therefore making sense to you is difficult. We know WHY Towes did what he did, we were just laughing cause it didn't work out for him, even after 4 or 5 crosschecks before Joe even knew he was in a fight. However, your "toughguys" never seem to try and take on a Shark.

You guys come to our site because quite frankly you understand that while your team has some skill, you are not as good as your record appears. You look fast because you get away with interference ALL THE TIME...I thought it was just against the Sharks, but today after watching the beginning of the Hawks/Kings game, I realized you get the "old time team" treatment everywhere (except maybe vancouver). Your guys were slashing and interfering with Kings constantly with no calls until finally Bollig got called after about 10 penalties that weren't. I will give you team credit for converting on bad calls, or bad bounces...those things mean little if you don't convert. So sincerely, bravo on that end...but again, your record does not indicate your team's level of skill..and you know it...it's why you're here trying to demotivate us for some reason (I'm not a player btw). You've played weak teams, or skilled teams that were slumping. In all the play I've seen of your team this year against the Sharks, Kings or Flames (Seriously the Flames!!?!?!) you didn't seem to be winning by pure skill....it seemed that your chances were created more by bad bounces or officiating. Thats NOT an excuse, teams like the Sharks are good enough to overcome that obstacle when they are playing well. I do feel our locker room is much better filled than yours, although I admit we are not playing better right now....but you know all this...its why you are here.

I know exactly why he went after Thornton, & I respect it, but it's too bad nobody else on the team had up to that point. Thus the ridiculousness.

There weren't any excuses made after the game the other night, the Sharks lost that one, plain & simple.

Trust us, no one will EVER take the crown away from Hawks fans when it comes to whining and making up excuses (the closest contender is Vancouver Fans). Even when your team is on a winning streak you come to other fans pages and make up excuses and whine even though not a single Sharks fan had posted yet, and NONE of them were making excuses when they did. When Sharks are on a winning streak, I don't go to the Blackhawks page and female dog and whine...I KNOW my team actually earned it.....

Over the last 10 games, only Columbus and Winnipeg have been worse than the Sharks. But we're still an above average team.

Personally, I couldn't care less about the ups and downs of the regular season. I don't get too excited over 7 game winning streaks or too low after 7 game losing streaks. As long as the team comes out of the wash with a playoff spot, who cares?

What I mean by that is, if we do well for a few weeks, is it time to start planning the parade? No. If we do poorly for a few weeks, is it time to start blowing the team up? No.

Only one thing matters during the regular season: making the playoffs.

Also, butthurt Hawks fans are butthurt. You guys won a Cup recently and are currently in first place, lighten up a bit.

It's more of the general struggles the Sharks have scoring that has me concerned. I saw it happening BEFORE the losing streak started. If the team is really going to try to depend on the PP to score, I seriously doubt we'll have much of a playoff run - that is IF we make the playoffs.

I wonder how much of the problem is the personnel on the ice, and how much is the personnel behind the bench.

I don't like the 3rd and 4th lines to be honest. They don't excel at defense, they're not shut down types and they don't generate very much offense. In fact, the last time the Sharks offense (as a whole) really seemed to be rolling well, was when Pavelski was on the third line with Wellwood. We had 3 pretty good well balanced lines rolling (at least until the playoffs).

All this banter between Hawks fans AND Sharks fans is just lame. Move on.
