Nope, I'd never say that about Ott because he's doing pretty much what he does every year. Some just thought he was gonna come here and rip peoples faces off I guess.

Buccigross and LeBrun are as good as hockey sources get. ESPN has really good hockey people, they are just buried in rubble.

I don't understand why people still feel like they need ESPN at all for anything other than live events. So many better options out there if you want real sports coverage.

ESPN as a whole is rubbish. I'd rather watch the Strongman competition, cliff diving, curling, and rugby on ESPN like it used to be.

This Iginla stuff on the front page makes for good humor.

I really cant see any way he'd waive his NTC to come to Buffalo unless we go on a tear & are one of the top3 teams in the EAST at deadline time

Your REAL WORLD where you think Stafford is and will be fine, as will the Sabres. As far as ESPN goes, the only time you see anything about hockey is with 2 minutes left in ESPN news or sports center, or if there is a fight.

Calgary is going to want assets back as if Iginla is 33 years old with 2 years left on his deal.

The Flames know they have to"win" the Iginla deal or face riots. That rules Darcy out right away.

The problem with those type of channels is it's to much of the same sport. The old ESPN is sorely missed.

Yea I am bitter it's been long enough with crap we call a hockey team and this loser we call a coach and GM. The Sabres that played in the AUD had more hart then these players.

I hear ya, but with all the specialized channels we now get much more in depth coverage than one channel could ever give us
When I want hockey, I go to the NHLnetwork, when I want something espn shows I'll go there...
I just don't see the big deal everyone makes about it all?
