Whats the point? Vaneks hot streak is the reason why the other lines are doing well now.... Every teams best players are out there against Vanek which leads to the ennis line getting more chances.

Thats a funny quote. Were they not before? Was he playing against scrubs since the beginning of the season and now all of the sudden teams saw Vanek kept scoring so they NOW put out their best players? LOL.
The point is, they need to get out of this slump. Both of them. And there shouldnt be any slack thrown their way. 3 games for Vanek, I guess thats okay. Somewhat regular for comparable NHL players. He starts hitting 4, 5, 6 its unacceptable. Same with Pommer.

I agree that 5 games is to much. But with how bad this team has been doing it was bound to happen with that line. They are still playing well though. Cody looked amazing last night.

This is Jude Druin's kid right ? When I was a young lad the Islanders had a 'Jude Druin' on their roster around the time their dynasty was taking shape..

Nothing I've read says they are related but if any thing it could be a grandpa. Jude was born in 1948 and Jonathon in 1995.

Probably would be a grandson then..
The puck seems to stick to his hands while skating up ice. If he goes 1st overall then we'll pick 2nd. If he goes 5th we'll pick 6th. So on and so forth....

So if this team played like they did last night all year would they be considered a playoff team? Honestly I hate to say this but I think we are a 7-8th place team. We handed the Bruins "best in the east" there only two regulation losses....
One game they are terrible and worst in NHL and next game they aren't so bad. Mediocrity is a terrible thing lol

Even in their good games (last night and against Ottawa) they're still too inconsistent. I blame that on leadership and coaching.

Lindy is one hell of a motivator, we win one game Stafford and Myers score so that makes everything ok now?. Well it's not ok, a change needs to be made and nobody on this team should untouchable in a trade.

I just had this debate with my friends. I told them we need a coach that gets these guys to play more consistent. Ruff has to go because he isn't doing it and hasn't for years.

Latest info I read has him 4th...
McKinnon has dropped to 3rd, with Nichushkin jumping up to 2nd, and Jones holding strong as the top pick

Everybody on here has still been talking all morning about making trades

Ruff isn't going so it needs to be a trade, just because we won that game and 2 guys scored that haven't scored doesn't make it ok.

Now why would I say it came from people on this site, I think you know who I mean when I say everything is ok, our management staff would think it's ok but it's not.
That was nice, but if he tries that crap in the NHL it's prob a turnover in his own zone... At the very least it'd be a turnover at the other teams blue line
Kid does have skills though...
He's a really good passer too

Well it was a big win anyways
But it's pretty much known that Darcy is at least trying to make a deal
Real sources are all reporting it (CBC, CNN/si, espn), and Darcy even said so himself
Seems like u don't have much faith he'll get something done, but I'm Optimistic a move or two will be made
Just don't know how quick it'll be
Colorado is under no pressure to trade O'reilly anytime soon, they'll let that become as big a bidding war as possible
And I like the idea of us getting him, but I don't think I like the idea of having to wildly overpay either
If we can bring in a defensive defenseman to help solidify the backend, and a winger who can provide some scoring and win faceoffs (Dubinsky?),
That will help right away with our two biggest weaknesses while we're looking to make that big deal
