There has been a fight on 3 consecutive faceoffs in the Stars/Canucks game.

Good to have that double threat anchoring your top-6, agreed.

Remember when there were teams that were too tough and could only goon it up? We were probably one of those teams. You can't do that any more. Scott is that type of player. We need to be tougher, but our tough guys have to be able to play hockey.

If the asking price is 5'8" Ennis for a bigger center, without really losing offense... sign me up.

It was packed, we waited a half hour or so for a table. I have to behave because I'm here for a conference with 6 college students I advise, so no margaritas for me.

I guess the sticking point for me is the "+" here. McNabb? Psysk? That's a future core of immense defensive talent I'd love to keep intact.

Ps- homer, if you're around, yes I'm changing my tune on Ennis v O'Reilly

No doubt, I was happy to find Lagunitas was widely available in WNY when I moved back... Now if I could just get some Pliny all will e right with the word.

No Russian River. No Three Floyds. No Bruery. No Cigar City.

Thank the beergods for Lagunitas, SN, Dogfish, Troegs, Stone and Founders. Or you can scour the internet and pay double for the other guys.

You don't dump Ennis, you use him to get a top notch player
Bold means im for real

I just dont understand the mentality our fans have when we complain that we cant replace scoring, and we want to get rid of our biggest threat outside of Vanek for a guy who produces less than him.

Unreal.

Ennis is going to fall in the same situation as Pommer. Hes going to get that big paycheck next contract that everyone thinks will be overpaid. Everyone will dislike him for it, even though hes consistently giving us 20 goals and 60 points, and then 4 years later he'll win the fanbase over when they realize it.

I am the Student Leadership and Engagement Advisor. I oversee student government, campus activities and student workers. This conference is the National Association for Campus Activities (NACA) http://www.naca.org/Pages/Home.aspx. This is the 4th conference I've taken students to this year, but I get my own hotel room, suite this time so it's not all bad. This one is long though, I won't be home until Wed.

And all the Great Lakes I can handle.

Also, been very happy with Community Beer Works here so far, but they need to grow.

Or he will take an elbow to the mush, play timid and never return to form. We will hang on to him too long waiting for him to become the player we want him to be.

Hope not, but it's a possibility. Even more of a possibility considering his size.

My itinerary includes breakfast tacos, a fair dose of Lone Star, and helping my favorite aunt move into her new house. Good times.

You're talking about a .67 points per game career talented offensive player for a .45 points per game career talented defensive minded player.

Theres a huge drop off. He played top line with Landeskog for almost an entire season and got 55 points. Ennis did that on the 3rd line last season (extrapolated numbers).

What do people really see in Hodgson that makes him more valuable than Ennis. Because hes 4 inches taller? Ennis still has more registered hits despite his height disadvantage.

Great Lakes knows their stuff.... and shame on me for forgetting Southern Tier. Anything they make with a 2X in the name is excellent. Along with Iniquity and Unearthly.

Ask the Sabres. They obviously see Hodgson as a better player or else Ennis would be playing with Vanek and Pommer.

I don't understand why everyone is obsessed with size. If people hate the way Myers plays for his size, they should be more than happy with the way Ennis plays for his size.

Honestly, I'm biased against the midgets. We've been too small for too long. If we give up an offensive talent for a more all-around talent... both young, both talented, but one "looks" more durable in a 7 game series, I'm OK with that.

He does, on the 1st PP unit. Ennis plays well with Foligno and Staff

Why is Hodgson demoted to second line PP and Ennis is on the top line?

Because Ennis benefits greatly from the increased room.
