So.... you think French Fries are not an important part of American Culture? You're a sexist.

You didn't answer the question. So you think that Holmgren should of traded for Ponikarovsky? And because he didn't, he's a bad GM? What did Holmgren do when Hartnell went down?
- MJL

Guys like Lokitinov, Ellerby, and Ponikarovsky were acquired for pennies. I guess the Flyers are so loaded none of those guys would help their team.

he was signed to be the 9th dman and he's doing a damn good job

Two year contract to be the 9th dman. Another fantastic deal.

Nah. As soon as Hartnell and Jagr come back, he'll be fine.

He will be gone after this year. He's not an impact player nor was he signed to be a starter. Just a depth defenseman. Didn't spend a lot of $ for him.

Gave him a two year deal, and wasted a contract slot on a bum. I'm really annoyed at this constant horsepoop being owned by the Devils.

He's snake bitten and this is was a concern giving him the c. Is it a direct connection? I don't think so but it's getting harder and harder to dispute; he's not the same player. Still a good player but not the guy he was last year.

Again, what did Holmgren do when Hartnell went down? Did he make a move that helped the team? Simple questions.

Lilja is the least of your problems. They also wasted a slot on Shelley. I'm sure we can go down every teams roster and find those types of players.

It sucks being owned but the Flyers need more pieces to be a serious contender.

Lets see what he does prior to tomorrow nights game. Cause everyone on the planet knows that a 6-8-1 team isn't putting Gervais, Foster, and Lolja on the ice in Montreal.

well, either bryz being fatigued or not having a real puck mover are bigger issues...that and scoring. 1 step forward, 2 steps back it seems.

Not having Jagr and Hartnell to open up the ice doesnt help. I don't want to make an excuse for him b/c all the "top players" make others better. He needs to step up and produce.

His play is starting to drop off. Could be fatigue. Let's face it, currently this is a poorly constructed team.

I'd chalk this up to growing pains but when you have Coburn and foster unable to clear the zone it's more like dmenopause

I'm drunk, but this comes from the heart. I hate you. I hate each and every one of you. I hate the color orange. I hate the fact that you guys like liquid cheese on your Philly cheese steaks. I hate that you all think the Liberty Bell is more of a national treasure than the Statue of Liberty. I hate that you all tried to sodomize santa, after pelting him with snow balls. Am I still talking? Did we win? I have to get my Mac & Cheese off of the stove. I think Edward is soo much hotter than Jacob.
- WayneZ

Liquid Cheese is horrible, this guy makes some legitimate points. I hope he got the mac and cheese off the stove.

Well, he wouldn't be the first player weighed down a bit by the "C", but it's too soon for me to consider that as the issue.

Seeing as how they threw tons of money at Weber, Suter, and Parise, I doubt this is the team Homer wanted going into this year. I think their big mistake was letting Jagr go, personally.
