I don't think it was deflected, the replay I saw Brodeur looked screened. He didn't react until the puck was already in the net.

gotta keep the foot on the gas pedal though coming out in the 2nd. keep making good first passes or chip it up off the glass and get guys in front of marty and pound their net. devils D is scrambling when were pounding in corners and getting traffic.
