Unbelievable. Off course you had to be a Cryer Remember: 1975. - Orpik44
Oh yes, revert from the facts and go to cups.
I LOVE it when people are defeated and they revert to # of cups
Tell me, how does the # of cups Philly has, has ANYTHING to do with your team being a bunch of dirty assholes?

ok, we are done.
All I know is i'd be a ravving lunatic if this had happened to an important Ranger - jimbro83
I understand the frustration...but this incident was accidental. I guess we'll have to live with our versions and takes of the play. When I said it was an "everyday play" it's because it is and happens EVERY GAME. Look at the analysis on tsn...
Peace and let's hope for a fast recovery for Karlsson. As for Cooke...I know most people will always hate him even if he becomes a priest.

I was just trying to get away from all the bashing and cursing you've been using. Ignoring it is the best way. I know we'll never understand each other and that's the good side of a rivalry. And a good one!

I am envisioning all the parishioners taking blind side head shots during confession. Say three hail marys and get knocked out by father Cooke.

By far the best/most hyporcritical moment of the super bowl, right before Jacoby Jones returns the Kickoff, Ray Lewis rubs Jones' chest. After the kickoff Lewis says "I touched him, God told me to. All I did is what God told me to do."

I agree with Boyle back in the line up. Making sure that he, at the very least, stays serviceable is very important to our depth as a team. Krieder will get better as the season goes on and he gains more and more confidence. Sitting tonight should not be a set back for him, but a chance to watch and learn some more and be that much better when he returns to the lineup

I would love for someone to ask Matt Cooke in an interview if he'd have the guts to play the game the way he does without a visor. - jimbro83
I honestly don't think that the visor has anything to do with it. I don't think that guys where them to protect them in terms of fights. It's more about the pucks and sticks that are flying around all game.

At least that is why I wear a visor. - Ben37
well, anytime Cooke has ever had to answer for anything he has done, he has turtled and hid behind his visor.
Completely 1110% against Boyle coming in for Kreider, killing a kids confidence for a guy who plays smaller than Kreider and hasn't played deserving of 3rd line minutes, if Torts wants to put him in then scratch Halpern, his face off ability isn't exactly helping them anyway.
Hey man, I'll agree that Cooke 's history is one to be frowned upon. But when he cleaned his game up 2 years ago after the Savard incident, he actually garnered some respect for doing it, and doing it successfully.
To be now blames for an accidental play is unfair. - moondawg
I see Matt Cooke made a special friend during his time in Vancouver but I'm not 100% sold on the intent, he's as dirty as they come and he did try and slew foot him but that's a fast play and he'd have to be pretty lucky to cause that specific of an injury without looking directly at it. I hope Karlsson is the same after this.

I don't totally disagree with you, but Halpern won 9 of 11 faceoffs in Boston the other night and I actually thought he has played well recently. I like the 4th line lately of Powe-Halpern-Asham
I expect Boyle to play as if his life depends on it tonight
