Did you read this article ? The point is who is better and where Bieksa would fit on other clubs rosters.
No where is there mention of salary or cap hits.

How did I just "Throw it in there" ?

Unless you are talking about last night and your sister, i threw it in there

In their defense, O'Reilly would be the best Centerman that they've had since Sundin. And Reimer has been pretty good this year.
- nucks_94

Plus O'Reilly plays a more complete game so you can't simply look at points alone.

No but hypothetically you're team captain in gym class, who do you pick?
- Morris

the guy who help start a charity or the guy who used to hit on his teammates wives

I'll take Bieksa.

And they wonder why they suck.

so we'll trade you a number 1 goalie for Gardener or Rielly.

NO DEAL

Would you take a 2nd or 3rd line centre?

Hell yah!

Leafs will make the playoffs this year they have improved immensely.

They don't need Lu but if they had him they would be a contender for 1 st or second. for the next few years.

They have scoring , team toughness a very decent D and now need a legit goalie.

They went from 13 th last year to #4 this year.

Leaf fans are funny...in their thread today they were fine with letting Gardiner or reilly go for O'reilly from colorado...so much for untouchable defensmen.
- rune_74

I saw a Leafs fan ask an Oilers fan if he thought Hemsky, some top Oilers prospect, and a 1st was enough to get Craig Anderson...

I don't give a damn about contracts. I think Bieksa is better.

Read my list ,I still take KB.

Bieksa has at times picked this team up on his back and pushed them. Phaneuf has always been a me first player.

The NE division will be good for the Leafs this year. They won't beat Boston most of the time, but they seem to have the Habs number, Buffalo is in shambles, and Ottawa just lost their best player. That's a lot of games that the Leafs should win.

I think Leafs toughness is as good as Bostons.

The Kadri third line is playing very good.

It is closer than people think. I think Leafs and Boston will battle all year.

He scores , he hits ,he fights ,and he stands up for his teammates. He is a good guy in the community and he has a very good cap hit.

Ask yourself would you rather pay pay 2 mil more for Phaneuf or 2.5 mil more for Campbell, if the answer is yes then you get what you deserve.

I would take KB on my team anytime.

We all watch a lot of hockey and obviously we watch our teams the most. My personal opinion is I would take Bieksa over both Campbell and Dion...for the Canucks. I love the intensity he brings and that he can become one tough, badazz son of a b!tch when he wants to and in the playoffs. I not gonna be a homer and say the guy is a #1 D-man but Vancouver doesn't really have one of those and in my opinion Bieksa is pretty damn clutch in pressure situations. He scored some big goals for this team. To me, for this team, he's a high #2 D-man who I would want on the ice when the game is on the line.

I'm not sure how, but I'm fairly certain that Matt Cooke is responsible for Manny's latest bout with injury.

I think this is a good thing for Manny. I think Gillis is showing Manny he wants him to be a part of the Canucks/Wolves , and will soon be an associate coach.

Sounds like there's a good chance, if all goes well, Ryan Kesler plays for VAN tomorrow night vs DAL.
