I always thought Hejduk would be a good fit on Crosby's wing. Don't think it would take too much to get him. - cap1681
Yea i agree with that, put kunitz with geno neal. Last game i watched hejduk was his 900th career game still looking good. |

Decent moves in the shootout. I'm a bit skeptical of him leaving too but if he doesn't have a NTC then things can change. The Avs need some things that we may be able to provide. |

I knew he had one on his last deal but I know nothing about the recent one he signed. I'd assume so |

Here’s a fun little story that I’m sure you’ll all enjoy regarding Eric Tangradi and Beau Bennett.
Anytime the Penguins arrive at a hotel on the road, all their keys are laid out on a table by the hotel staff. So the players, coaches, staff and media look for their names and grab their keys off the table – no big deal.
But when the players got to the hotel in Winnipeg, there was a key on the table marked “Tangradi.” The other players assumed that since the trip was planned in advance that Bennett, who was recalled that morning, didn’t have a room (he actually did have a room, but no one noticed his key). So the players handed Bennett the room key marked “Tangradi” and told him to take that room.
So Bennett, the wide-eyed rookie, headed up to “his” room. But there was a surprise awaiting him. After putting in his key and opening the door he found out someone was already in his room: Eric Tangradi.
As it turns out the Jets put Tangradi in the same hotel until he finds a place in the city. The Penguins did have a room for Bennett, but he didn’t see his key. The hotel put Tangradi’s room key out on the table going by the old list. Thus, a friendly face-to-face encounter by former teammates.
Needless to say, Bennett went back down to the front desk and grabbed his room key. No word yet if this time he opened the door to see Ben Lovejoy.

Wouldn't mind having him on this team. A proven guy with lots of experience and skill. We seem to do well when we bring elders |

Yeah that got posted a bit earlier. Pretty amusing stuff. I'm sure they had a friendly exchange considering they played in WBS this year together. |

I won't disagree. Hard to believe they would add two older guys with the roster of forwards we have and Bennett being added though. I'm of course saying that with Dupuis and Cooke not being included in any possible deal. Kennedy would be involved I'd think. Shero said he need to play better. They've talked apparently. Seems like that's as good as saying he's on the block or close to it. |

We could trade the underachiever Dupper for one of them |

I agree with Tangradi. He looked like he didnt want to mess up and had a short leash. But thats also the definition of a guy who needs a change of scenery. Will be good for him. Sucks we couldnt get it to work here |

I don't see that. Not unless we had a real game changer. I think Dupuis is one of the most important cogs on this team. He can literally play on any line and is an outstanding PKer. Heck, he even contributed on the PP a bit. You know this though |

I think he's doing fairly well with us. He's not the most skilled guy but can work on the PK a bit as well. |

Not to mention that without Engelland in the lineup on some nights, he's the only guy with an NHL track record of throwing down. Bortuzzo isn't too shabby but he's still a baby in that regard. |

I hope not, he's played decent. NJ games aside, that 4th line has had good zone time lately. |

Agreed. If we could just get Jeffery on that line or the 3rd more consitently I'd be happy with it. They do a good job of cycling but they need that touch that Jeffery could provide. |

Tanner Glass was supposed to be quicker and more talented than Asham. I dont see that at all, maybe more durable but other than that i dont see it. |
