Agreed. I'd do Ennis for ROR straight up all day long..

Ennis is a nice player but he's complimentary and a top end 2nd liner. We've seen what we're going to see IMO.

Well their problem is not that they don't have salary cap because they have a ton.... I think their problem is that with stastny and Duchene already on the team... do they want to pay 5M for a 2C/3C depending on the night?

throw in maybe some lower level guy from Rochester... Maybe Pardy if they want the salary because he is NHL capable.. maybe like JGL or Biega/Crawford/McKenzie.

No. You totally missed the point. Make a trade in season at some other point besides the trade deadline to help your coach and this team.

We need an offensive coach that can teach players how to shoot . Why do we make back up goalies look like Vezina winners ? All our shots go direct at the goalies body !! No one on this team can pick a corner or shoot under the crossbar . I played junior A in Canada - Years ago . And our coach had plywood cutouts he would put over the net with certain areas open . The forwards would spend at least 15 minutes or more every practice working on their shooting .
That skill has to be worked on all the time or you loose it . We need some fresh thinking in this organization . The old thinking is not working anymore . I am sure Mr Pegula could afford a few sheets of plywood !!
Try something new , this team has become an embarrassment . There was so much optimism when Mr Pegula bought the team . That is all gone now . Might as well try something . Thank god I bought center ice so I can see real teams play.

I wasn't aware you needed to teach professional hockey players how to shoot. Seems like that should have been a skill they picked up somewhere along the road to becoming a professional...
