I don't keep up with NHL coaches a whole lot...

are there any former head coaches who are currently unemployed out there besides Ron Wilson?

My personal hope would be to lure Patrick Roy here.. what better than to have him guide Grigo who could be the face of our franchise in a year or two.. and we even has Frederick Roy in our minors...

i really like what columbus did the last few days. that guy has an awesome eye for talent and he was shackled by the fact that he was european.

I'm kinda **hoping for Phil Housley myself although P. Roy is interesting and was one of my favorite players ever.

I say not employed by us mostly cause the majority of the time its not from the org the next coach is "called up" think Sacco is the only one that comes to mind

for a guy that is a healthy scratch for 7 games... and has a 3+M contract...

you are looking at about as high as a 4th or 5th round pick I would assume..

Maybe Gerbe, Ellis, or Pardy.

there would have to be a d-d swap in the mix seeing as to how buffalo has 8 on the roster. maybe leopold and a pick for tallinder

ugh, 89, i really like your imput but I honestly don't know how to keep up the misery so relentlessly. I'm not even the one doing it and I'm exhausted. I suppose it could be taken as passionate but damn.

i think regier has done a few things that are good but I kind of feel like they've embraced the "we want to win multiple stanley cups) ethos a little too hard and are going too young now.
