For now, sure. Pretty obvious Jake was out of shape at the beginning of the year. I think we are seeing how he is able to generate space for his linemates.

Schenn certainly feels very comfortable going to the front of the net for his offense, which would allow Briere room on the ice.

Could put Talbot with Briere and Simmonds, not ideal, but it keeps the Schenn-Voracek pair together.

I don't normally post lines, but this is what I'd like to see.

Simmonds-Schenn-Voracek
Talbot-Couturier-Read

I normally don't post lines, but when I do, Lava listens.

EDIT: like those lines as well. B and G need to get it going. I like McGinn offensively more than Talbot as well, plus his size advantage

I used to be in favour of the Flyers possibly making a trade for Evander Kane if either Perry or Getzlaf were unavailable in FA.

Not anymore. Guy is all drama.
Here is a part of a CBC article:
Kane's feelings about how he is treated on social media are included in a leaked story that will be in the next edition of The Hockey News (THN).

The Hockey News reporter Ken Campbell, who spoke to CBC News on Thursday, said he asked Kane about all the criticism.

"Do you think that this would happen if you were white? And he replied by saying that, 'No, I think a good portion of it is because I'm black and I'm not afraid to say that.'"

I'd be fine with switching McGinn and Talbot. I like to think about both sides of the puck when thinking about lines.

I am really starting to wonder where Briere fits on this team going forward. I truly love the guy as a player. He is clutch, and such a playoff performer.

I hate him on wing however, and if the team wants to have Giroux, Schenn and Coots as the big 3 going forward I dont know where Briere fits. He is brutal on the wing.

He's also just a 21 year old kid. I wouldn't put much weight on what he says. if I was thinking about obtaining him as a player, his play on the ice would carry the most weight.

What criticisms? Him holding stacks on a rooftop in Vegas? He's a clown.

I think the Briere not being good on the Wing is far overblown. Put him there and leave there to develop chemistry with his linemates and he'll be the same player at Wing as he is at Center.

Its well known he goes out to bars in the city and leaves without paying the tab. Its happened quite a few times. This is kind of minor I guess.

The whole arrogant, and stupid post of money on the rooftop with playing the race card to blame those who got on him for posting such a photo is concerning to me. Just a hunch but I think he is playing somewhere else next season.

I dont feel the same way personally.

I think playing in the middle gives him a bit more room and allows him to avoid the physical matchups he would be more exposed to playing wing.

I don't even care about the picture, he can do whatever he wants with his money and personal life and he can punch cabbies and leave huge bar tabs, whatever. But pull the race card because people criticize irks me to no end. People think you're a douche because you're a douche. Not the color of your skin.

I can agree with it giving him more room to work with would be beneficial, but I think with the right line mates and him playing the way he can that would be a minor issue. I'd rather G Schenn and Coots down the middle.

A center is far more involved in physical play down low then a Winger is. Regardless of what position he plays, he'll be at a physical disadvantage size and strength wise. It's been that way his whole career.

I actually liked him until I read that. (frank) him. I'm so tired of the chip on the shoulder thing. Guys like him need to read about athletes like Jackie Robinson, them cry the blues. White athletes get criticized just as equally especially in hockey, ask Sidney Crosby
