eh, ullstrom (who i happen to like alot) hasnt been great recently. granted i would have sat aucoin, ko before him.

hickey has been good, and finley sucks Richard...i dont understand that move at all. lets also remember just last week when finley played, he didnt even crack 8 minutes.

EDIT: oops, clicked the wrong "Quote", meant to respond to your comment about ullsrom.

I guess they wont more muslce in the lineup but whatever that is not going to work at all. Gaborik will get his usually goal or two JT Miller will go ona field day scoring again and Nash will get a cpoint or two and they will be praising his name like the second coming of Gretzky

Say what you want about Ullstrom (I thought everyone on the third line played very well last game, personally), but if anyone here thinks Boulton is a better option, please go have your head examined.

I wish they would just waive this bum an bring up Gallant or something. Boulton is as useful as a "poopie-flavored lollipop."

Yea, now I remember him being scratched prior to last game.

I promise to be more attentive tonight.

Hickey hasnt been good. He's a minus 5 in 8 games and has no goals and no assists. Thats not good thats invisible for a "D" that doent know the meaning of the word Physicality.

I think for a kid cutting his teeth on an "NHL" team, he's been okay. He makes quick sound decisions with the puck and battles despite being smallish. Considering the Isles awful habit of backchecking, there has to be a curve in his grade.

We should mass produce this post and send it to Charles Wang 5 times a day

the saddest part of all this is the fact that the fans and I'm sure the players want to win, it just that the owner doesn't have that priority. The fix is so easy, especially now with Brooklyn in the future: Just hire a Team President, a respected hockey guy, and let him run the show. You bring in a respected hockey man to evaluate and sculpt this franchise, the rest of the dominos fall shortly thereafter. Yeah, CW has to open his purse strings too, but if he does and he hires a Team President, I think things change for the better. The culture around the team, the perception, is awful. Its also depressing.

Actually my memory is sharp as a tack. That was just a minor hick up.

I've been tuning into the games and then bouncing around to other games and missing 5 or 10 mins here and there.

The way they've been playing. I figured I really have missed very little.

I could pull out the tapes of the last two seasons and see the same team play.

We definitely going to win now. We have Size right?

Finley 6"8 and Boulton is over 240 Lbs. Whomever gave me hard time yesterday got his prayers answered.

Too bad you took out one of best Foward in ullstrom that Cappy give less and less ice time too. despite scoring more goals that KO.

Some of the judgements made by some of you on here are just as bad as Cappy.

Finley will be -3 tonight. just wait till a good coach like Torterella exploits him when he on the ice with Gaborik.

I've seen him make some nice passes. And I've seen him lost in his zone.

For a "D" man who doesnt hit. Is relatively small and hasnt added a point of offense.

I'm not to impressed.

I dont have a problem giving him several more games to get his game going.

He's not a shut down "D" man. He doenst seem to be an offensive threat. He's carried the puck a few times out of the zone but other then that.

I just cant figure what his game is.

NO ONE suggested Finley be put in the roster or Boulton. The comments were saying that this team lacks skill with size. We have no one in our top three lines over 6'2 or 215lbs. Therefore we have no offensive presence in front of the net. It was you who then brought up Finley and felt the real problem was backup goaltending ( ). We NEED a skilled big forward that can create a physical edge for the team. And we're not even scratching the surface on our defense.

I think he has the skillset to be a decent offensive dman, but he seems like another in a long list of Snow's prototypical dmen. Good skaters who lack physicality. This is why (and not Hickey specifically) a guy like Streit is expendable IMO. We have a couple of Steit's in our system. We need a punisher.
