Just think, if Shero would have thrown in TK the Pens could have gotten E. Kane in return.

Pens would have probably had to add a 4th or something...

I just saw Tangradi to the keys for a 7th... Does any body know how's my picks we have this year?

Two 4ths, and now two 7ths.

This hasn't been updated since the Lovejoy trade, but it's the only site like this I've seen:

All jokes aside, as much as we ride Tangradi, he seems like an ok dude, and hopefully he gets a chance and does well in Winnipeg.

I would think that the little things that Shero does get noticed around the league by players and agents. Michalek wanted out, and he traded him back to Phoenix, Lovejoy isn't getting a chance, so he moves him somewhere that there is more opportunity. Same with Tangradi. He could have buried these guys in the press box all season (like Dustin Jeffrey )

- rival22

For all the crap Burke takes he is similar to Shero in that regard. Very respectful to their players best interests, even if it means they have to move on.

Good for Tangradi, he will get a fresh start, it was never gonna happen here.

So who still thinks we could have gotten any top 6 winger for Tangradi?

Me too... and I said 2 4ths, thinking again that Lovejoy got a 4th.

Funny they traded him for a 2014 pick. I didn't scroll down that far, so I figured it wasn't updated.

I was all sorts of wrong lol.

I knew Tangradi's value was low but he's has more potential than Lovejoy. I like this deal for Winnipeg!!! A 7th round pick for a guy with upside and looked good in front of the net on the PP not that long ago. Oh well it's better than releasing him.

Let's be honest, he doesn't really have much upside. Besides a good net front presence on the PP in the last game of the season 2 years ago, he's really shown nothing at the NHL level.

Holy crap, I just realized that game was the last game in Thrashers' history before the move to Winnipeg, they probably wanted him since then and finally got him lol.

Boychuk was a former 14th overall pick and he went for less.

I never caught that either, but just looked back at the announcement on the Pens website, and they have 2014 too.

Reverend Killtaker, you see a lot of WBS games, right? What have your impressions of Dominik Uher been?
- rival22

He got his first pro goal in a horrible game last night. He can be a bit scrappy but he is going to be a work in progress for a while though. He is a constant in the lineup so he is getting ice time which is good. Perhap next season he may pay Pitt a visit for some coffee, but as far as being a standout, so far not so much.

Just saw the Tangradi for a 7th round pick and thought it was great for both teams, really. Shero did a good job in freeing up a spot on the roster.

Btw, I liked the Wheeler idea. We can't afford players with $4mil.+ salaries on this roster.

Well Shero saw the ducks were doing well. Maybe he thought the ducks might make it far and their pick would be low this year.

If Lovejoy gets a fifth, how does one exactly acquire a seventh? Win the Cup and we get Mr. Irrevelent.
- Oneonta Penguin

Haha standing on line at Moes ordering mah burrito and nachos I got the text and I believe I said something like, how the hell did Lovejoy get a a fifth and Tangradi gets us a 7th? as the meathead behind the counter is trying to tell me pork is an extra .25.

Comical.

I think the Lovejoy and Tangradi moves are more about timing than wanting to give those guys an opportunity elsewhere.

He's got Nisk and Letang coming back......so the team has to carry 8 D. I think both Jeffery and and Boychuk have proven to be better players and if he want's to make any move for another forward, whether it be a call-up with Bennett (most likely) or even a trade, he'd have to waive Tangradi and get nothing.

Thanks... wasn't expecting a standout, but ever since he was drafted, for some reason or another I've always liked him based on his background, junior career and attitude. Kind of envisioned him as a pest with a little bit of skill at the NHL level someday.

We have Bobby Farnham who actually is a really good pest right now on the team. Imagine Danny Carcillo, without the taking of detrimental penalties. Then we have Zach Sill who is similar Vitale but more of a leader and one to stick up "captain" style for his team mates. If Uher, can sit back and learn from both of them to form his own combo style of both, which is how I envision him, then I think he can have something.
