i replied to one guy, who said that if sens fans are still upset about this in 2 days, then they're idiots. i pointed out that 2 years later, there are still pens fans complaining about the steckel hit, and then some clown came in and proved my point.
i flat out said i didn't think the incident last night was intentional....but to call fans idiots because they're upset about it is just assinine, especially when idiots in your fanbase are still complaining about a clean hit TWO YEARS LATER. - sensarmy_11
I think his quote had more to do with the word "intentional" and not "being upset". Trust me, you'll be upset for a looooooong time. Regardless, you have to know in coming here that you might read something you don't like. That can't be a surprise. Don't make it worse by continuing a futile argument.
Hopefully Karlsson has a full recovery. A true super-star. |

No Malkin at practice today so Bennett will not be skating reps with him. |

Is he getting a day to rest or is there another reason for him not being at practice? |

Yay on Bennett.
I figure this is a medium term audition to help Shero determine how seriously he needs to pursue another top 6 winger. Obviously, if Bennett does well, Shero can focus on another top defenseman. |

What are the chances that we hear in the next few years that the "Gary Roberts Clinic" involved PED's ? How can we not be cynical these days ? |

I didnt see anything that mentioned an injury, probably just maintenance. |

He got a day off as a reward for not taking any stupid penalties last night. |

Sutter limped off after taking a slapshot last night. Probably just a rest day for both. |

Gonchar was picking them off on that one PP. Cooke, then Sutter, pretty sure there was a 3rd one too.
How about Adams killing that 5 on 3 last night? More people would be talking about how good he was if Fleury didn't let in that squeaker just as the PP ended. |

Probably Fleury's biggest weakness, no other goalie in the league gives up as many goals/rebound chances from bad angle shots like that. |

While I agree, that puck went in a puck sized hole, it was actually pretty remarkable.
But yea, he lets in as many goals from behind the goaline as anyone i can recall. Luckily he's good at stopping the ones from in front of the goaline, aside from the 2nd goal last night. |
