How about this-
Josh Yohe @JoshYohe_Trib
Don't laugh about something 50 feet from Sens locker room (unrelated to game, by the way). Bryan Murray will tell you off. I just found out - lloyd095
Bryan Murray would biitch about the flavor of the frosting on his own birthday cake. |

To be fair, more than a few Pens fans on here claimed Subban intentionally cut Staal. - MadCap2008
And if you look at that video, that was closer to being intentional than tonight's. |

I don't believe either was intentional. Just speaks to the nature of fans : if it's your guy getting hurt, you're more inclined to view an accident as intentional. |

As many have said, it's Cooke, he'd catch flack even if he cured cancer. Looking at it, it was a pretty typical play of guys jostling going into the boards. What he kept his foot up for I don't know, looked a little curious. I'll go as far to say it was "unnatural".
However, these things will happen when you have people flying around with samurai blades strapped to their feet. See: Subban v. Staal |

I remember a few fans thought the Subban cut was intentional, but most of us thought it was careless......just like tonight.
Sure, Subban is a dirty name around here, just like Cooke will be in Ottawa. Got no problem with that. |

I don't think of either incidents as careless. I think of them both as freak. Anytime a skate related injury happens I chalk it up to a freak incident. |

If it was any other player in the league everyone would be focused on how terrible it is for the Sens and Karlsson. But because it's Cooke it has too have been on purpose.
I could understand that sentiment if it was another headshot or hit from behind. But freaky things happen when people get knocked off balance with skates on. Ask Malarchuk, Audette and Zednick. |

Well... you're probably right.
Anyway... about the game...
I don't think the Pens played all that well. Got dominated from time to time without their best players. They got outworked a lot and gave up several really good chances. MAF gave up two crappy goals, but really kept them in the game.

It also doesn't help that Brian Murray will be saying lots of stupid things about it. And the ottawa Sun will have a steaming pile of whining columns to follow |

Despres needs2 play w/Letang; PP 10times better w/Martin; Neal gr8 pure finisher; Cooke decent w/Geno's line; Consol ice HORRIBLE.

I agree about Despres and Letang.
Should we be worried about our star defensman who is due to earn 7 mil+ isn't capable of quarterbacking the PP?
