Doubt u get O'Reilly without giving up Gardiner..
- Fruitcakenipple

Would you consider moving grabo back if they'd take him?

Good way to off set the salary we'd have to sign O'reilly to.

I've heard the arguments that it's a lateral trade.... but I would say Grabo has hit his ceiling. O'Reilly has a chance to be a 1C and even if he doesn't ... he can definitely fill the 2C role we'd be giving up to get him.

Am I that evil to feel zero compassion for Ottawa fans losing Karlsson and Spezza?

Don't get me wrong, I love both players and can't stand seeing such tremendous talent hurt and sidelined.

These fans have been nothing but disrespectful and vicious towards our players and fans. They piss on Kessel & Phaneuf cutouts in the urinals, mercilessly booed and mocked Lupul throughout the All stars, the guy couldn't say a word on the mike. The organization encouraging fans to not sell their unwanted home game tickets to Leafs fans to have home game dominance. Fans went out of their way and put forth a formal complaint to remove Leafs apparel from a SportsCheck in Ottawa, etc...

These fans are envious, jealous, disrespectful and would be popping champagne if any of our highly regarded players get hurt badly.

That's the painful truth. I have 0 compassion for Ottawa fans and yeah I am enjoying their misery. Too bad for Eric though, I would love to have him on my team any day.

I used to feel compassion for Karlsson and the Sens, and then I went into their thread to sympathize and talk about what a dirty piece of poop Cooke is.

And I was opposed in my Cooke hate by none other than Senators fans. They were actually defending that slimy punk.

Then I realized that this was possibly the most neutered, sissified, docile fan base on the earth. Then I remembered it's Ottawa, the lamest city in the country.

So screw them. I tried to be supportive, but they have no spine.

They're allowed to play in the AHL once their respective junior seasons are over...regardless of age. He would then have to go back to Junior, or the Leafs, for next season.

The hit wasn't "fine" because somebody got their Achilles' tendon slashed.

As I said last night, we can argue careless vs. malicious, but let's not pretend that was a picture perfect play.

Go look at my post and aetherial's post.

How often do you see this kind of play happen?
How often do you see this injury caused this way?
How often does Cooke just happen to be the cause of a far, far more valuable player getting hurt/injured?

What are the chances that Cooke just accidentally took out their top player for months with a "routine" play that never actually happens?

Yes, taking a player into the boards and getting your skate blade on the back of their ankle with enough pressure to slice tendons is "fine".

Just like they teach you from day one, right?
