After a four-month lockout, the NHL began play in January and season-ticket prices went up 5.7 percent, according to the recently released Team Marketing Report Fan Cost Index. The average season ticket for non-premium seats is $61.01. As usual, ticket prices were set well before the season.

The NHL average this season is $354.82, a 7.9 percent increase from last season's survey.

The Buffalo Sabres reported the largest percentage increase at 26.7 percent, which brings their average ticket to $46.15, the seventh-cheapest ticket.

That might be one of the best questions I've ever been asked on here. To be honest, I was stunned that the Kings won last year. My only answer is: FLUKE. Look at the lineup, the party boys Carter & Richards, the brain dead Penner, how they got this team on the same page I'll never know. They just got a serious hot streak & never took their foot off the gas.

I think buff and phaneuf would get along just fine if not 1 of them could try and make their millions pumping gas I would guess.

Sutter is one of those coaches who gets great results for a short time before he loses the room.

And LA still had some great pieces in place. A lot of good leadership. I wish we could have pulled the trigger on a deal for Brown when the rumors were swirling.

The Accord? Well I was gonna get it painted after the winter but around Christmas someone hit my parked car at the Kennedy Station parking lot. They smashed into my bumper. Well they knocked half of it off. I got to the lot after work & half of it was hanging down.& cracked . They really smacked it good. Had to use long plastic black ties to hold it in place. So now after this I'll probably just say fuk it to painting it & fuk it to fixing the bumper. Eventually I'll just buy something newer.
