Usually return to full activity (non pro-athlete-levels) at 4 mos. 6 mos = almost normal. 12 mos = injured side as strong as uninjured.

On average. These are averages. Everyone is different. Depends on whether the achilles is completely or partially transected.

If you missed it, @aaronward_nhl had good explanation on Cooke/Karlsson: "His intent is to drive his knee through his legs and pin him."

Achillies injuries make me cringe. I'm surprised it doesn't happen more.

I'm shocked they don't have any equipment to cover that area.
