I grew up at Wintersports. That rink has character. I can almost smell that mix of propane fumes, urine and mildew just thinking about it.

the place is falling apart at the seams. it's a poop hole and i hate playing there. we stay because the team has been at that rink forever, and we get great ice times for our games. if it were up to me, i'd find another rink.
last year there was a problem with the zamboni and it caused a CO build up over 300 parts per million. guys got sick, were on the verge of passing out. they called the fire dept and emptied the rink. a few guys went to the hospital. i fortunately missed that game, which is extremely rare for me.
2 weeks ago another zamboni problem - no oil or some poop like that - and they couldn't cut the ice, so we played - directly after a public skate session. it was brutal.
Hell I didn't know about that either. Wow just wow, if all that ass got was five years after being on the run, why didn't his dumb ass just face the music to begin with? Total spineless move by the father hope the apple fell far from that tree.
