He always just annoyed me, but after his vehement blind support of Stephan Auger, and the subsequent smear campaign on Burrows, it took it to the next level.

I know a girl who was allegedly there the night those photo's PKer posted were taken, and apparently he was a dirty old creeper....but who hasn't gotten a little out of hand with a few too many in them....can't say I've ever taken my shirt off and played air guitar at the bar, though.

Good stuff.

Looks like both will stay here and then one(likely Lu) will be traded after the season(I'm guessing at or around the draft).

The window will only be open so long and Gillis is taking two seasons off. Nothing like job security.

If Lu is here past the deadline, thats what it amounts to... If he trades Schneider and keeps Luongo this summer, he's a hypocrite.

Gillis will never admit it but Lu's contract HAS come back to bite him...ALREADY.

The trade deadline is just weeks away folks. Gillis and fans have fallen for this "everything is great so dont touch it" act before while the Canucks gobble up points in the NW... teams they will never see in the playoffs. Gillis has work to do. Don't kid yourselves. What assets can he trade and where is the cap space if he doesnt move a GT? Face it, if he keeps both, we go into the playoffs a one offensive line team again and gamble on Kesler making it through the playoffs without a dehabilitating injury for the 1st time in 5 playoffs.

People were calling me Debbie Downer last trade deadline when I said this team would struggle to score in the playoffs. I was crazy, the team was *better* going into the playoffs... do we expect our two most injury prone players(kes/booth) to turn this team into a cup run this year as well....

Listened to Mike Gillis today on Hockey Central and I am starting to like the guy a lot. Very sincere discussion on trading Luongo

Seems to me it may not happen until the off season given the way Gillis spoke so highly of each of them.

He has two good Golaies and in my opinion two classy off ice Goalies.In a short season it is a secure feeling to know that no matter who startts they will play well.

Gillis seems very honest and down to earth about the whole thing. Just seems a really nice guy!
He does want to trade Lu and develop another young goalie but unless a team steps up with a good trade for Vancouver he will not trade him tihis year. Or at least that is what I heard today.
