Me Either . Boinker Booner and Fosco are the prospects guy.
Ian also but he is always wrong - VANTEL
Boinker has to be taken with a grain(actually load) of salt though. Fosco seems to know a lot about the unknown prospects and I'm usually not on the same page as Ian...
I do know that the Blues scouting is very strong, they do a ton of video scouting and I believe they are one of the NHL teams that uses advanced stats. |

Is Raymond Schroeder Hansen our new 1st line?
How good would Benn and Kassian look on the same line? |

Don't think it would be scoobie. I remember his hate for Tootoo. So Konopka doesn't seem like his kind of player. |

As much as I'd love to answer that. How bada$$ did we think Kes and Booth would be before we saw them together.
You need Chemistry. bottom line. |

Thank god, someones here.
True about chemistry. But two young power forwards like that. I don't remember the canucks having something like that. |

Im not going to lie. Are the the Sedins in there prime? Not even close. But there speed gives them so many oppurtunities and if the second line can keep up or even improve on there pace, And also provided the Sedins will finally hit there stride. Yes, this team will be dangerous.
I've asked a few of my buddies this in Whistler this weekend.
My suggestion was when Kes comes back you throw him on the third line as a roll player and then perhaps promote him when and IF he gets his legs back.
1 out of 10 agreed with me. Am I nuts!?!? |

Meh. His mistake on the only goal against. - hertzman
Double meh. People complained about Ballard and his cap hit non-stop when he wasn't even given a chance to prove himself. Garrison on the other hand, has been given every opportunity on a silver platter and shows absolutely nothing special. If they're not going to set him up to take advantage of his ONE unique skill (booming slapper), then I don't know WTF he's doing out there to justify that cap hit. |

Bold part 1 answers bold part 2.
As far as Kes... What possible advantage could be had by starting him back on the 3rd line? He wasn't out with a lower body injury, so his legs & cardio should be absolutely fine. What he has to worry about is regaining timing and chemistry with his linemates which can only be accomplished if he's playing with them. |

Schneider is available..; - thundachunk
From my perspective, either goalie could be traded and I wouldn't be surprised either way. I have to respect Gillis in that he said he was going to hold out for the right deal and right now the stars are aligning perfectly for that deal to come along. I'm really focusing on Washington - a team with some big contracts and expectations that is built to win in the next few years (much like Vancouver but without the goaltending). |

I thought Bieksa's failure to clear (or at least advance the puck) was the cause for the only! |

That was Ebbett's mistake, being in the far corner on the PK allowing two wild players room to the net. |

I'd say Garrison was more to blame personally. Ebbett was on the boards anticipating that Garrison would send it around behind the net, and he could have got it out. Instead, Garrison tried to reverse and go the other direction. He immediately got pinned, gave up the puck, and the wild moved it quick enough that Ebbett didn't quite have time to get back in a defensive position. Tough play, but if Garrison sends it around the net, the goal doesn't happen.
EDIT: not that it matters much. A win is a win and Garrison has been fine IMO |

Yes, but if Ebbett had been in position then Seto wouldn't have been able to get to the net, AND, if Garrision had managed to chip the puck to the corner, Ebbett still could have been the first one there. At the end of the play you can clearly see Ebbett skating hard to get to where he knew he should have been in the first place. |

Raymond Schroeder and Hansen look good . Lots of speed and the nice thing is as a third line they don't need to face the other teams top coverage. Their salary is cap friendly @ 4.7 Mil.
I think MG is clearing cap space to pull the trigger somewhere. IMO I think we have seen the last of Manny as a player. LTIR will free up abot 1 Mil when he qualifies.
I feel something big will happen around TDL. |

Garrison has made a few bad decisions in his own end. He hasn't let his shot fly enough this year in my opinion. I'm left wanting a lot more from him. |
