Agreed, goalies are like pitchers in baseball, the mental part of the game is really important.

It sucks to lose to them, but it's expected to win against them. Very little joy to be had in beating the Wild.

Lastly, I was impressed with how the Canucks players conducted themselves in St. Paul the last time these two teams played. Heck, get rid of the chippiness and the agitators and just play good hockey and win and even I could find myself cheering for this Vancouver team in June. Was it an anomaly or is this a new and improved version that actually may bring the Cup back to Canada? Time will tell my friends, time will tell.

Three teams in the east. I don't think Gillis would trade in conference but there are a few teams in the west that could use a goalie. Lots of teams could benefit with Lu in goal.

I'll be honest. I love the chirping. To a point. If it's done well it's amazing how effective it can be. The Canucks got a well deserved reputation around the league for it. Major factor in their 'most hated' tag.
Some teams try to match it and it throws them off. Sometimes it wakes teams up, and that’s when it burns you.

I remember that hype train. It wasn't just the Nucks fans either, the Hawks fans and some other fans of other teams as well were all going crazy for him. Apparently the most teams were willing to offer the Isles was a 3rd rounder and they were asking for a 2nd round pick for a (frank)ing 4th liner who was pending ufa. He played the season out with the Islanders and then signed with the Sens where he was a healthy scratch at times.

I'm a schneider guy but I have to agree with you. As long as Lu is on this team you got to use him if he is effective and can help the team win.
