Lapierre is finally pissed . This is why I like him in the playoffs. When things get tough h get going. - VANTEL
For sure, he's at his best when he's emotionally involved and always steps up in the playoffs. He did the same for Montreal. |

Strangely enough, though, he's never in any proposals from other teams' fans, either.
Pretty underrated by non-Canucks fans. - Fosco
For sure, he reminds me of the Detroit guys, Helm and Abdelkader before they became more well known. |

And be a asst coach on the wolves - Bieksa#3
I think a team will definitely offer him a one year, 1 million dollar deal to be a 4th line faceoff specialist, he was pretty sought after when the Canucks first signed him and even those he's regressed he's still a valuable player. |

McKenzie seemed a little concerned saying that the Canucks were being very tight lipped about Malhotra's condition and that he was still working out off ice but was not participating in any on ice activities. |

Whatever else happens in his career, he can say he stoned an Art Ross winner on a clear break. |

We're screwed if Bieksa goes down, he's our best right handed d-man. |

Just need to keep controlling the play and get traffic in front of the young goalie with shots on net. |

For sure, but Bieksa is a proven guy and eats up minutes. Tanev would be less effective playing 22-23 minutes every night IMO. Another thing I've noticed is that AV tries to play Ballard and Tanev with the Twins to take pressure off of them when the Twins aren't matched up against the other team's top lines. |

I'd play Higgins over Weise, Vopatti is more physical and more of a legit tough guy. Lapierre and Higgins play pretty well together, they were both on the third line in the playoffs last year and during the cup run at times so that's a petty reliable 4th line. And you can even add a better forward than Vopatti at the deadline, but obviously someone with some grit and size as well so you don't lose that. - Nucker101
Higgins has been awful. Need some toughness on the 4th line. Higgins, Malhotra and Ebbett don't belong there. |

He doesn't adapt well during the game, he sticks to the game plan and doesn't change it. |

I am thinkin Manny is ok but Gillis went to him with a wink wink deal and said it is time for LTIR. Booth and Kesler are ready to return . |

It's still early, I'm judging Higgins based on his entire body of work since Gillis acquired him. You can play a tough guy with Lappy and Higgins on the 4th line. It's not like Weise and Volpatti are scaring anyone or throwing big hits every game, so give me the better player. |

To be fair, what can he really do during a game other than mix up lines? He's not the type to start yelling at his players. Not much adjusting that can be done with a proven veteran team in a regular season game. |
