So...
Sedin Sedin burrows
Booth Kesler Kassian
Raymond Schroeder Hansen
Volpatti Lapierre Weise
Where have Weise and Volpatti been tonight? - Scooby_Doo
I'd play Higgins over Weise, Vopatti is more physical and more of a legit tough guy. Lapierre and Higgins play pretty well together, they were both on the third line in the playoffs last year and during the cup run at times so that's a petty reliable 4th line. And you can even add a better forward than Vopatti at the deadline, but obviously someone with some grit and size as well so you don't lose that. |

Haven't heard their names, same with Tanev(which might be good for a d-man I guess).
Volpatti is pretty consistent with energy and hitting, but Weise had stretches like this last year as well so hopefully this isn't the start of another one. |

Weise has been way better then Volpatti. Not even close. Manny is needed for face offs. |

I heard Weise's name, Cuthbert mentioned that he is second on the team with 28(?) hits. |

Up to this point Dale W has been lights out better then Volpatti. I don't think its even close. Neither is a legit heavy weight |

I'm not sure if it's still intact following all the trades.... |

Yup, there's a reason why he's never in anyone's trade proposals. - Nucker101
Strangely enough, though, he's never in any proposals from other teams' fans, either.
Pretty underrated by non-Canucks fans. |

I agree on the second part, but Volpatti is definitely closer to a heavy weight.
I've honestly been impressed and disappointed with both at times this year—both have done a better job at creating chances this year, but both have been poor at finishing them.
It's a tough choice for me to choose between them at this point. |

I'm not a fan of either of them as anything more than 13th forwards that you play when others are injured or if you need a little extra grit. I really hope that MG adds another bottom 6 forward that's a more complete player than those 2 and can still provide the physicality. It would give us 4 really solid lines so even if one of the top 2 line is struggling offensively the bottom 6 can chip in. Secondary scoring doesn't mean just the second line. |
