Now that Lidstrom is gone Bieksa should take over as the annual Norris Winner
- Bieksa#3

Wow, now. He's still gotta get through Edler

They better win one while they can—once Corrado breaks into the league it's no contest...

He said a lot of stupid poop.

Then he quoted me and changed "petty child" to "pretty child" and said something about it being a "creepy thing to say to another dude..."

That's the point when I realized I was dealing with somebody who's not all there...

You'd think that the Wild would be more entertaining as a team, they have lots of guys that have/will score 20+ goals in a full season: Koivu, Heatley, Parise, Setoguchi, Cluttberuck, Cullen, Granlund, and Bouchard. I know they they don't have any great offensive d-men but they should be scoring a lot more.

Doesn't it feel like they've lost their identity? They used to be such a gutsy, agitating team. Holy nice Goal. Raymond was crazy

Scoring takes more than buying hockey players. They might be good but do they fit together?

I think that Setoguchi, Cullen and Bouchard are somewhat overrated in terms of offense. Clutterbuck is a machine, but more from a defensive stand point. Heatley has been invisible for years now, while Granlund has bags of talent but is still raw. Its only really Koivu and Parise that I expect bigger numbers from, and even then I expect Parise to be 10-20 pts ahead based purely on talent.

Mayray playing well... Maybe a good partner with kessel since lupul is out...
Corrado and gardiner

Edit:In all seriousness...Raymond is having a much better year...One of the reasons why i like long off-seasons...
Just like when we get eliminated by Chicago in the 2nd round of 2010 and comeback with a great year, 1 game away from the cup

With one of the best lists of bluechip prospects in hockey you do have to wonder why the wild would put themselves in cap hell like they have

Yeah for sure, I feel like most of the NW teams outside of the Canucks don't have much a definitive playing style/identity, maybe Edmonton as a run and gun team but they don't have the depth to come at you in waves like the top offensive teams. The Flames used to be a defensive, gritty, tough team that played hard and relied on Iggy to carry them offensively. The Wild were always a trap team, but they did it well back then and again relied on Gaborik to carry them offensively. The Avs were always stacked with talent and played a puck possession game and now I have no idea what they are.

Yeah, I love the speed and Raymond/Schroeder have good chemistry plus Hansen basically fits well on any line.
