Hmm where to start.

1. Maybe you should re-read the part where I said, "all signed/or were traded"

2. Before he re-signed Ek frequently peddled Nash to Toronto trade rumors.

3. Ek considered Montreal a front-runner for Hossa before Atlanta traded him to Pittsburgh (the habs finished first in the east that year, in case your memory is lacking), meanwhile he barely mentioned the Penguins as a possibility.

4. Ek made a blog circa summer of 07 where he "guaranteed" Lecavalier would be traded to the habs within two years....I'm still waiting for that to happen.

5. He also frequently mentioned Kovalchuk to Montreal trade rumors well before Kovalchuk even hit the final year of his contract.

nice try though.

so what you're saying is, youve been coming to this site since 07, and you're complaining that his trade rumors are bs? 5 years you've been coming back.

FIVE YEARS. and you're complaining about his trades rumors being awful.

5 years LOL

nice try indeed.

ahahah this guy thought he could beat me in an arguement when he's been coming to this site for 5 YEARS and he doesnt like the rumors.

Cali need not 3 teams anyways
- SotaPopinski

Well Einstein, let me remind you, two of those three have Stanley Cup ringsin the past couple years. What do your Wild have? Oh yeah, those two huge contracts that will handcuff the team for the next 10 years and a lackluster, disappointment of a team

I really get tired of the argument that there shouldn't be three Cali teams. Cali hockey is growing, and more and more players are being developed there and starting to make an impact in pro leagues. Plus, all three teams have been really strong since the lockout, with the Ducks and Kings winning the Cup and SJ always a dominant regular season team. The pacific division in general is always solid if not the strongest in the league.

Meanwhile, these same people look past the three teams in NY (two of which have been less than impressive lately). In fact, if you consider the metro area with NJD there are 4 teams, and only two are successful, and only one NYR are a cap team. I just don't get the idea that three successful franchises in a non-traditional hockey state is a bad thing when the sport is growing because of it and rivalries are starting to get pretty heated.

It takes time to grow fanbases and its really a grass roots effort. All three Cali teams are better off now than they were in their first decade or so of existance, and you have to figure all three will continue to grow their fanbases.

It is really an ignorant argument

EDIT: I forgot Buffalo is a cap team now, but really weren't before Pegula took over

clearly it works, are you hating on him for doing what will make him the most money? you think this site would exist if he focused on the blue jackets? lol

i dont get you people...complain so much that this site has stupid rumors or dont talk about certain teams...yet you keep coming back. if you dont like it, go join some other rumor site with 1/4 of the members and you will bore your ass back and come back here.

- sensnucksnocups

I'm not "hating" on anyone. What are you, 12? And also, "complain so much"? Huh? I said ONE thing, buddy. Piss off.

Panthers blew a 5-3 lead in the 3rd with less than 8 minutes left.

Panthers had a 4 on 1 and managed to get no shot on goal.

Panthers had a 2 on ZERO and failed to get a shot off.

Worst team in the NHL, not even close. Embarrassed at this point.

if it makes you feel better, both rangers and habs had 3-0 leads going into the third, and let in 3 unanswered goals. they won in the shootout...but still, kinda pathetic lol

I feel the same way about the Isles. Nothing ever gets done. The only player worth watching on our team is Tavares. Kid is a gamer.

Another source, this one in the midwest says, "I know the Red Wings and Islanders each have a contingency plan in place to go after Ryan if the Ducks don't lock him up."

Ryan = Locked up.

Minnesota legislature. North Stars left, Twins almost contracted, Vikings nearly moved to LA. Little of it had to do with fan support or who was on the roster
- SotaPopinski

Actually falling attendance and no pricing power in the marketplace is the number one reason the Stars left town.

The last season the North Stars averaged over 14,000 per game was 83/84 that was followed by dropping attendance which hit a bottom of 7800 per game in 90/91. Attendance did recover from that point but never enough to increase ticket prices to get revenue to a point that made sense.

they've been picking high for at least 5 years now and all three teams are near the bottom in goals for 1/4 of the season gone. PATHETIC.

Panthers 2nd to last in goals against. Just amazes me when Tallon talks about the high speed and skill he's added. I for one don't see it, all I see is a team that gives up a million goals and a team that can't score for crap. Worst team and worst organization in all of sports.

I have had people I know in the Ducks organization tell me that the Getzlaf deal is all but done and they will announce it when they return from this long road trip. I personally wouldn't bet on it just because Bob Murray has done some pretty stupid things in the past and I wouldn't believe anything until Getzlaf's signature is on it.

Funny how the SENS are not mentionned in being the real contender to sign or land players. But history shows that The SENS were in the final 3 or 2 teams in the mix for Nash and Justin Schultz. Nash decided that no Canadian team would have him so Columbus had to settle in trading with american team...and Schultz, well...when you have number 99 and Coffey calling you to go to Edmonton...

I remind you that Bryan Murray have drafted and coach Getzlaf and Perry. Also, we have strong young players as asset to exchange before the summer. Wiercioch, Zibanajad, Bishop...Anaheim needs all of that.

I strongly think that a trade will be done if Murray gets the garanty.
