I feel the same way about the Isles. Nothing ever gets done. The only player worth watching on our team is Tavares. Kid is a gamer.

Grabner, Moulson, Martin, Hamonic and Now Cizikas are also fun/worth watching. Isles score a lot of goals and have a very good PP. Our defense and goaltending stink and have for years that is what kills the team. To say JT is only one worth watching would be false.

I had season tickets for this team where it was truly painful to watch them game in and game out. Ziggy and Kenny Johnson were lone brightspots for years. This team has many guys that are fun to watch play every night.

Funny how the SENS are not mentionned in being the real contender to sign or land players. But history shows that The SENS were in the final 3 or 2 teams in the mix for Nash and Justin Schultz. Nash decided that no Canadian team would have him so Columbus had to settle in trading with american team...and Schultz, well...when you have number 99 and Coffey calling you to go to Edmonton...

I remind you that Bryan Murray have drafted and coach Getzlaf and Perry. Also, we have strong young players as asset to exchange before the summer. Wiercioch, Zibanajad, Bishop...Anaheim needs all of that.

I strongly think that a trade will be done if Murray gets the garanty.

- SENSpatriot

why would anaheim need bishop when they have hiller, fasth, gibson?

wiercioch is garbage, no way is he a main piece.

no one wants to play for ottawa, it is such a boring city. maybe some old geezers who are looking for a nice place to retire.

nice try though.

Perry may be the logical piece to keep but from interviews and such he doesn't seem nearly as committed to the team; if the player has anything to do with it. Though it really depends on management and what they need more. Getzlaf has picked things up a bit but I think where he becomes most important is his personality in the back.

Ducks scouts have been following around the Sens and vice-versa including two of each at least nights games.

Something is cooking for sure, and the only players that remotely make sense coming back to Ottawa are Ryan, Perry or Getzlaf.

We'll see what happens but there is hard tire kicking taking place for sure. I wouldn't be surprised if a trade broke today.

You have no chance at them right now. Not when the ducks are playing the way they ar right now.

If both of those guys had another year left on their deals, you are right I would slap anyone for suggesting something so stupid.

The fact that they both seem to not want to resign and can walk for nothing at the end of the season... Bob Murray has to address this. The double kick in the balls of both of them walking after this year? David Poile agony X 2.

You just can't let half the talent in your org walk away for nothing.

what people are not talking about is the fact that the canucks have been playing really well and are arguably one of the biggest threats to win a cup. Does roberto even want to waive his NTC?.......

All the rumoured trade partners are in pretty rough shape to win this year.

Do we even want to trade him?...canuck luck says the second we trade lou, schnieder pulls a groin

Islanders and Wild trade talk? Could it surround a goaltender swap? Backstrom's slow start has vanished and he is now playing spectacular in the nets for Minnesota. Which goalie would Isles move? Also, EK had reported that Wild had interest in hometown kid, Kyle Okposo. Don't really see that happening, but one never knows.
- Brad Ratgen

The Wild can have KO and his 3rd line skills, along with is 3mill/ 3.5 mill/ 4.5 mill the next three seasons. The interesting question is if it were a goalie (and we all know no one is taking DP) which two of the Bridgeport guys would go - Poulin or Nilsson? Both have been dissappointing in the AHL this year but most would agree that Nilsson has the bigger upside. What is on the market with the Wild.... Send us back Zenon!

I say good news that the NYI and the Oil stopped their trade. They are both young teams with prospects. They would be trading problems. Plus the more Tamb does nothing, the better chance us Oiler fans have of getting a real GM. One who has an interest in winning.
