The morning skate lineup

OTTAWA -- The Sabres have hit the ice at Scotiabank Place for their pregame skate. As Lindy Ruff said this morning, Mikhail Grigorenko is back in his normal spot on the third line. One of the fourth liners will be a scratch. The lines look like this:

Vanek-Hodgson-Pominville
Foligno-Ennis-Stafford
Ott-Grigorenko-Gerbe
Scott-McCormick/Hecht-Kaleta

The defense will have the return of Tyler Myers. The current pairs are:

Myers-Regehr
Ehrhoff-Sekera
Leopold-Weber
Sulzer-Brennan
- Doug Allen

I guess they are just trying anything....

Regehr is too f'n slow to get that much ice time...

Ehrhoff - Sekera
Myers - Weber
Sulzer - Regehr

Last old warrior that worked out was teppo.

Its not like we are targeting leo because he is the knew whipping boy "we all know thats myers". Its that leo has actually been awful whenever he is on the ice. He had some trade value but I'm sure thats decreasing every shift he is out there.

Loved him here. I'm a bit surprised are D is so bad with J.Patrick and him as A.coaches....

stafford needs pressbox time or dropped a line.. he has been tolerable defensively but we don't pay him to be a 4th liner. he is killing ennis and foligno

that is the reason why I covet him... you imagine him and Ennis ripping up and down the ice together...

Ahhhh. Another evening to sit and watch the Sabres spiral into oblivion........

I like ennis but I feel his speed is overrated. He is quick as hell but i really don't find him to be a speedster like some do.

If it was me I'd scratch Leo, Hecht, Ruff and Regier.

I like ennis but I feel his speed is overrated. He is quick as hell but i really don't find him to be a speedster like some do.

Or ennis on the wing. But get grigo ice time with them. Its a good idea but ruff doesn't go with whats obvious .

Michalek is another block shot and average hitting type guy...

Yandle doesn't hit either... only 6 hits this season..

Now that I really look at Yandle's stats closer.. I don't like him that much... he is not defensive at all...and just another offensive d-man that we don' tneed on this team.
