I have been watching this team for close to 25 years now!
This has to be the lowest point of this team.
The absolute LOWEST.

Is there a point where those rights expire? Similar to Justin Schultz's situation.

Schultz was a really rare set of circumstances. Some kind of loophole. I don't believe the O'Reilly situation is similar.

He refused to sign any type of contract with Anaheim. They only have a certain amount of time after he was drafted to get him signed. If they don't, it pretty much makes them fair game.


At least that's my general understanding of it. It may be a bit more complicated than that.

Colorado is a great trading partner right now, but you would need a GM with some stones to make that happen

He was a college player and a team has untill a certain time frame after said player graduates to have said player signed. He just refused to sign, which as poopty as it is, is his right.

It wouldn't take too much more than Ennis. All these players get over rated when their names pop up in trade talks. Ennis is a young electric goal scorer who plays with a rookie and a worthless Stafford, give him some linemates and he's a ppg player

Ennis fits in with their style of play and Adam would step in and play right away for them. The usual 2nd rounder that Darcy likes to piss away would be more than enough to get him IMO.

All is well, we have 2 of the top 20 centers in the league. Progress is being made, it takes time.

The games I saw, he was still trying to find his way. He was playing well defensively, but you could see he wasn't playing the exact game that he would like to. He's a baby compared to the rest of the league though. He was starting to look more comfortable though when he got destroyed a few weeks ago. That's probably the most disappointing part.

i'm super excited to pick in the top 5! i'm serious, we haven't done it since vanek and i love the heck out of that stuff. i was jealous of montreal last year because they got galchenyuk. we did well in the draft but top 5 is more exciting imo.
