Kane the "goat" tonite - giving up the puck just before Cogliano's goal.

Thought he may have been trying to do too much with the puck most of the game.

88 was certainly pressured on the tying goal...don't think he had much time to make a play...the Ducks d-man forced the turnover beautifully...and that shootout move is TIRED.

Goat #2: Seabs

Hossa is off, having trouble with his hands; mishandling pucks; bad passing; 1 goal last 9 games. Still plays great defense.

Disappointing outcome, but that's what happens when you sit on a lead...you get PHUCKED.

No excuses tonight. Our pp had two golden chances late and didn't get it done.

Crow was outstanding tonight, but 0 for 3 in S/O's after a 6-5 S/O record last year. The Perry snipe was TOP CLASS.

- philco28

funny how that works...he was one of the top shoot out goalies hiw first year...ok last year and slippn further this year.

Perry snipe...it hits the post or a goalie save...only place he could put it and he did with getting C2 leaning glove side

still alot of good from this gme.

1. PK and 5 on 3 kills out of this world.

2. Craw still playing well...his glove was great tonight

3. Saad learning and growing and a picture of that mid air shot will make the rounds

4. Defensively very good

We know the bad and well worn topic on this blog about Toews, Hossa, Saad not quite on the same page.

2 days off should really help with some practice time and get ready for a psssed off Shark team on Friday

I actually thought they played a pretty good game tonight but they can't fall asleep like they did with under 3 minutes to play. They had that game wrapped up until that point, can't be careless clearing the puck in that spot. Also like many said, you have to score when you get 4 minutes of 4 on 3. Whatever, take the point and move on.

I thought CC had a pretty good game sans the shootout. Saad continues to improve and Krueger is becoming a 1 man PK unit. Bickell was physical once again and his hit on Getzlaf resulted in Leddy's goal. Speaking of Leddy if Seabs is going to do nothing but pass on the PP then please let Leddy take his place.

On the opposite end of things, Hossa needs to get going again. Also it's time for Sharp and Seabs to remove their heads from their asses and start playing up to par. Neither of them have been very good so far.

Still 10-0-3 is pretty impressive and this team hasn't even played their best hockey yet. Now get re-focused and beat up the Sharks on Friday.

Crow made that beauty glove stop on Perry in the first...and then in the s/o.....it's a mind game battle between shooter and 'tender. Perry won. He's a hard phuck to play against, but one of my favorite guys to watch SHOOT the puck, despite the slow start this year.

Weird that Columbus let Howson deal Nash, select a coach and pick a draft only to axe him relatively shortly after that.

Seems dumb to me.

Nice game from Bickell. Also Saad.

Bad powerplay there in overtime. No urgency.

Yup. I have faith in Davidson to correct that.

He's a good one.

20 had a strong game...earned the s/o chance, made a decent move too.

Agreed. I also think it's time to end the "what happens to Saad when Carcillo comes back" discussion. He's on the top line until further notice.

I'm just happy he's getting a long look and some good experience. Whatever happens, happens.

PP. Must. Get. Better.
Toews wins 4 consecutive draws 4-3 in OT and nothing to show for it.
Like the physicality tonight and Hammer's steadiness. Saad looking better but still not in the flow.

Puhlease! Saad is carrying that line. Hossa has not been producing. No points for sucking up to JJ by denigrating Saad. It's Hossa that's holding back the line; 1 goal last 9 games, plenty of opportunities,

Hossa actually tried to pick a corner tonight...the young goalie made a good stop. But with the chances he gets Hoss should score 100 a year...that's right...ONE-HUNDRED.

Aren't they 1-3? Wasn't Calagary game won in a shootout?

Yes...but Razor got the W in CGY....Crow's 0-3 in s/o's.
