dont even mention Taylor Hall then
- big_dion

A skate to the face does not an injury prone player make.

Just like a back infection doesn't, and getting buns of steel to the face doesn't.

No I'm not worried about RNH. He rarely takes a hit. Throws his share and plays an incredibly smart game. Special player.
- robin_steele264

That is all I want, is a rebuttal to my question and comment, thanks

Yes, Reimer has tweaked something once in three years.

Injury prone.

- Leeman4Gilmour

He also missed lots of time last year.

Circumstances don't matter when declaring a player injury prone.

See. Hall, Taylor.

Blew by him like he was Schenn, yeah I went there.

I can understand Kulemin out-muscling Markov, but isn't he supposed to be able to skate at the speed of sound or something?

Lavvy's time is up. like Torts he's one of those guys that changes everything really quick but has a 3 season shelf life before everybody hates his guts and he needs to be fired.
- AdamFrench

his face on the bench last night was classic

Does Datsyuk take lots of hits?

Elusive players tend to be.... Elusive.

I always thought of Markov being sound defensively, injuries and age catching up to him? Still a good dman, imo.

No, but you seemed to indicate that Reimer has a habit of getting hurt in "routine" situations. So far, that has happened precisely once and it likely isn't serious.

Ankle that was pretty flukey in a fight. And a nagging shoulder from junior that hasn't been an issue since it was fixed.

RNH didnt even look all that great in the WJC....hes good, but hes not that game changer like Tavares was.

he is tiny for the NHL you are 100% bang on...Hall has been a bit injury prone too, he's a lot stronger than RNH though! hoping these guys strengthen up and stay healthy til the olympics at least

- big_dion

I think Sam Gagner might be worth looking into in a couple years when he hits UFA. Edmonton won't be able to sign him long term, for market value, while still keeping the other 17 players Cloutier considers to be Edmonton's "untouchable" core players.

Only seen a few games but I like how Hall cuts to the inside to drive the net, pretty fearless.

exactly.

lots of guys get small injuries.

even goalies, so this is a good example.

hall who has more injuries than reimer - is not injury prone, but reimer is? hows that work!? it doesnt!

Meh. Undersized #2 center.

We still need a big #1, and Kadri is at least a #2. Then you've got Grabo somewhere in this mix.

Gagner is the definition of inflated numbers.

it was 2 days ago.

datsyuk gets hit, beacuse he takes the hit like a man and moves the puck.

he broke his wrist just a couple seasons ago falling into boards - injury's happen, people get hit, its a contact sport.

for sure, hall is a gamer and he plays hard and to win.

injuries happen to guys who play his type of hard nosed game...i just saw him other night have to leap over the net so he didnt eat the cross bar. its a war out there.
