Honestly, I've been thinking that might be the better option for a while now.
The return would be better...but I know Gillis would hate to do that.

Luongo's numbers: .940 1.53

Not too shabby for a guy that's been in trade talks for months. He's proving he's still got what it takes.

Trade a late round draft pick for Clemmensen

Or sign Roloson.

Without Wilson the Leafs wouldn't have Rielly in their system. Meh. Could be worse.

Just a temporary goalie until Reimer is back.

I'm sure if we had Roloson in net, we would still destroy the Habs like usual.

I don't think anyone anywhere said you destroyed the Habs with goaltending

He plays the 4th line so much because they've proven to not be too big a liability in general. And at the end of the game up 5-1 there really wasn't much risk putting them out there and giving the top players a rest.
- Domaju

The 4th line was out there to discourage any Flyers from getting any ideas about taking a run at someone to "send a message".

The fact that Cloutier would be "alone" in wanting Phaneuf tells you just about everything you need to know about that thread.

"Hey, let's make a post about all sorts of players that are only available to us in our deeams, then talk about how we don't want those guys anyway."

I'm starting to think it's Schneider that will be traded.
- Pecafan Fan

I think it *should* be Schneider.

He should fetch a better return, AND you keep the guy who is a better goalie right now.

Let's face, the Canucks window is NOW, not 2 or 3 years from now.

The threads since the big win remind me of that Simpsons episode when they travel over to Shelbyville and the locals gloat about beating them at football nearly half the time.

Apparently they let Springfield have the lemon tree because it was haunted....now let's all enjoy a refreshing glass of turnip juice.

Great game by the leafs last night.. The pressure they put on the Flyers was pretty impressive. With that said, the Flyers looked like a bunch of p-words last night. Afraid to take a hit to make the play. Kudos to the Leafs for noticing that and upping the ante. Deserved win.
