Pretty superficial reason to stay away from a player. That's as logical as passing on a goalie because he has a scar on his face. - Two_For_Truth
dude you love john mitchel, tlusty and a bunch of other terrible players.
i have no doubt whoever you suggest is the wrong person the leafs need.

I think Carolina is a big game.. they are not that good of a team.. but when the Leafs fall to perimeter play Carolina excels.. we will see if they have learned their lesson.
\Big Game Carolina is beatable.. especially on the road. - DoctorNHL
Canes could be very good this year... off to a fine start anyways.

I don't see it.. many holes in their game.. but they could fix it.. Ward sits too low.. anyone that fires high beats him.. the leafs were shooting it low in the last game.. he is short shoot high always...

Be careful, he is going to be a mod soon and he told me he will ban our asses regularly, no matter if we have cheap running mascara or not.
... Jason Bourne's train is crossing the border into Canada now. You might want to consider making a plan.

Let's try to get Dan Blackburn out of retirement for this week.
C'mon, we are going to lose the game against Carolina anyways - wouldn't it be cool to watch a goalie play with two blockers? - Atomic Wedgie

Yeah I figure they'll be on the safe side and make it two weeks.
We've got enough offence that we just may be able to pull through until James returns. And let's hope there isn't pressure to bring him back too early.
We have a trip to Carolina,
We host Ottawa, a team missing its no. 1 centre, and is having trouble scoring
Then we get a trip down to florida. I know we don't play well in FLA but it's still two points this team can get.
And of course we usually spank Tampa - AngryWhiteMale
let's see how the habs do with them tonight.
but it's not 2 points in the bank yet.

well would you want a goalie playing in todays nhl with out a mask?
i say no!!!!!!!!
40 years ago scars on the face were all the rage for goalies |

Static stretching is just about the worst thing you can do for muscles.
I don't know why NHL training staffs don't ban guys from doing it. - Atomic Wedgie
I did a grade 2 to my MCL a while ago playing soccer. I'm pretty sure it was 2 weeks of rest, ice, heat, elevation, .......then 2 or 3 weeks of active stretching with a therapist before I got back on the pitch. |

With everyone ranting and raving about the four game winning streak, you would think that nobody remembers (or chooses to forget) the Leafs opening seasons really well under Ron Wilson. Or winning four games under Ron Wilson. Granted, certain things have changed significantly in style of play but the Leafs have done this stuff under several coaches over the past 8 years and it usually ends up being the same story in the end. - Two_For_Truth

I hope they give Reimer two weeks just to be safe. Ease him back in. Last time he came off of injury he obviously wasn't ready, he got rattled and then went into a spiral. This obviously isn't nearly the same degree of an injury but I still hope they take a cautious approach with him. As long as Scrivens is even remotely good it seems like our offense will be able to carry us for a bit. |

only dif is, he will get the pro treatment.
and id IMAGINE he has very strong leg muscles (stronger than ours)..
so 2 weeks seems about right. |

Just look at Kiprusoff. One week turned into three. And Kiprusoff is an extremely athletic goalie who is far more flexible and mobile than Reimer is. |
